Salon A is my go-to salon of choice in CT!! Whether it be the professional owner Abby, knowledgeable hairstylist Jaime, or sweet makeup artist McKenzie I know I'm getting what I want! Honestly the best salon with the most wonderful staff and beautiful results I've been to in CT. RUN, don't walk to Salon A for your best hair and makeup dreams!!!

I love Salon A and highly recommend coming to this salon! The Salon itself is beautiful, clean, and sleek. They followed COVID protocols to a T and have always put their clients at the forefront while maintaining their professionalism. Lisa operates at the front desk and is very sociable, attentive, and kind! Abby, the owner of Salon A, does my hair and is incredibly talented and patient as I throw a new wild hair color at her every other month (dark purple, bright purple, dark red, copper, blue, teal, magenta, silver so far). Together, Abby and I created a hair journey prior for my wedding that made the most sense color-wise while keeping my hair the healthiest it can be. Abby also does more traditional colors--as do Mackenzie and Jaimie--and Mackenzie does vivids too. Not only do I go to Salon A to get my hair done, but Abby, Mackenzie, and Jaimie also did the hair and makeup for my wedding this past October. They did a fantastic job and managed to fit in 9 hair and makeups over the course of 4.5 hours. The prices are great for the end result as well. My hair and makeup trials were easy, and Abby and Mackenzie listened to what I wanted and made sure I was happy. Abby also dyed and curled clip-in hair extensions for me that I provided, which I had never used before. Overall, cannot recommend this salon more!

Hands down the best service on the shoreline. The stylists are on point! The listen and actually do a real consultation. I had a lot of damage from previous color treatments and within a few visits my color is corrected l. My hair is healthier than ever.Services: Haircut

I have tried multiple salons on the shoreline and none were able to color my hair to my expectations. I was finally able to schedule time at Salon A (my schedule didn't work with their hours). Let me just say my hair has NEVER looked better! The color is great and has not caused any damage. If you ever have felt like your requests or concerns were not met or addressed... this is where you need to go. Their consultations are on point and they hear you and work with you. I will NEVER leave this salon.

Jaimie does my hair and is wonderful coloring/highlighting/cutting it Abby the owner is great too, she got me in before I went for surgery when Jaimie wasn't in. Makenzie has done my mom's hair beautifully. All these women are so sweet and genuinely care about you and are so fun to talk to. The environment of the salon is relaxing. Love it ?
