The best for grooming standard poodles in the area. Especially if you have more than 1.
Now they have new groomer that are still learning.

While the main staff are great the new grooming staff is awful. They left our dog wet with shampoo still on him so he was sticky. I thought simple mistake but the groomer never said sorry but rather tried to defend herself saying he was fine and he was good to go. Had to get the manager to tell her to take him back and rinse and dry him.

Staff was friendly. Store layout was a little difficult for me to navigate..... but I found what I went in there for.

Don’t get too excited especially if Jack’s there. I was excited to get a new pet as my doctor just mentioned & Jack REFUSES to take a joke or move on with a sale. Oh my pretentious privileged example of ignorance of humanity - we’re not allowed to be happy as adults alone? I am sick of other’s misery & judgments about me annoying white men- now it’s all ages

Made a grooming appointment a month ago and it was cancelled with a 1 day notice. We were told they are not doing any grooming for a few weeks-no specific return time and no effort to reschedule which I guess we couldn't trust anyway. The manager I spoke to actually started speaking to someone else while on the phone with me.

Pizza, hot wings, and mozzarella sticks cook to perfection. Kids' meal was good. I just couldn't trade out for things the kids don't eat.

For a chain pet store, this Petco is doing just fine. They have a nice selection of groomers, friendly faces behind the register, and plenty of our pups' food in stock. The layout of the store sometimes makes it hard for staff to see you're ready to checkout, but that usually only is an issue during off hours. This location is on the smaller side (maybe a little bigger than the Guilford store?) and feels a little dingier, but they have all I need so...

Love the store.. there's a few know it all employees that gave me bad advice on my chameleon but otherwise great store. Dog groomers do a great job but all look miserable to be there at all times.. they need better staff morale. Again store always stocked and have what I need 99% of time.
