I was just there to do emissions testing on two cars. But I can say that the personnel were friendly and courteous, and the service was performed promptly. I will consider this facility should I need car maintenance services in the future

Made appointment for oil change online, showed up nobody was there. Lights were on, Computer was on, doors were locked. Waited 30 minutes before leaving.

Made an appointment for 9:30am, get there and person at desk tells me there is nobody to do my wheel alignment. Appointments shouldn’t be allowed to be made if nobody is working. Block the time slots so people don’t waste their time. My info was in when I made my appointment. They texted me a confirmation. Why not text me when you look at your appointment schedule and let me know not to come?!!!!

I made a appt online at the Clinton store to fix a leaky tire. I got the confirmation of my appt. When I went the fellow at the desk said I should have called because they never receive any appts from the website. He couldn’t fix my tire and I would have to have an appt. I called customer service and no one answered. Very unprofessional.

The guy at the front desk was very rude and obviously doesn't want to be there. I came in at my appointment time and said as much. He just stared at the computer and indicated I wasn't in the system. When I repeated my details he found it with the last name spelled wrong and the wrong first name. I had to repeat my details a couple times. It took almost 90 min for a front end alignement and it was $150+ (other shops quoted between $99 and $125). The same guy was rude on the phone when making the appointment. The guy who worked in the car was friendly but tried to disparage work that was recently done on the car by another shop that we trust. Would not recommend this place at all

Read the full review, pretty bad experience overall. I called and ordered the two tires I needed last Monday, the guy on the phone took the order and said he'd call me later in the day or Tuesday when they came in. I called late Tuesday afternoon to check in and yep they had them there, just didn't reach out.I took the first available appointment, Friday afternoon at 2 and took a half day to get there on time. I give them my keys and sit in the waiting room. After 5 minutes they realized they wouldn't be able to do tires and an alignment as there was a truck on the lift waiting for the owner to decide on brakes. At this point i'm frustrated but agree to come back Monday afternoon to do everything all at once. They and I agreed this made most sense.Today (Monday), I get there, give them my keys and they do my tires. Once the tires were done they took my car off the lift and tell me i'm all set. I remind them they still have to do the alignment and the guy tells me they can't do that part today because the tech was now off the clock... the tech referenced was the one who set up my new appointment for this day and time... they advise me to come back a third time to do my alignment.I've now come and gone from this Monroe location twice without an alignment, and will not be back.

Thank you for your straightforward approach to car repairs. My car needed new breaks, new wipers, and an overdue oil change. Repairs were done in a timely manner and the prices were better than the dealer. I'm so glad we have Monro in our community. I appreciate the team.

I went today to make an appointment for work to be done on my 2016 Honda Pilot. Although Monroe is a preferred vendor on my extended warranty policy, the person at the desk refused to do the paperwork. He said he would have to “open a ticket” and contact the warranty company but refused to do so. He said it was “a big hassle” and “would take weeks”. I said I was willing to wait but he still refused. I contacted Firestone and there was no problem and they made the appointment to do the repairs. If you have an extended warranty don’t bother going to Monroe in Clinton.

When you book an appointment through Monro's website, one is asked for a contact phone number and email and the nature of the service. Makes sense. I needed a VIN inspection and noted that on the appointment form. Then you get an appointment confirmation via said email and phone number. Even better. So, you would think that a staffer who knows his VIN inspection machine is broken might use either of those communication options to cancel the appointment before the customer arrives. Nope. Poor form, Monro.

Michael is extremely kind and welcoming. I was having trouble with a very flat tire that couldn't be patched, on a rental car. He took the time to check what was wrong with the tire and even referred me to a tire specialist. So gracious, you can tell they really care about helping !

Horrible experience. Had a 9:30 AM appointment that I showed up for on time. The rude desk jockey- attendant basically told me that his “tire guy“ Did not show so he can’t help me. Does this awful place cross train people? Stay away from his franchise, its a joke!

On Saturday my car was making a god-awful racket, and it looked like there was something underneath that was torn. I called up Monroe and they got me in Sunday at 10am. I was there for maybe 5 minutes and they got it in, removed the loose heat shield causing the issue, and told me it was no charge. They were so kind about it all, would highly recommend!
