They screwed up my order for a very important med. I called to check and see if they had fixed their error. After jumping through hoops on the static filled automated system I get a very rude condescending woman who feels it's her job to give me a hard time. This is far from the first time this CVS has disappointed me.These people are severely lacking in professionalism in dealing with the public, their customers.I will be contacting the district office. Alot of good that will do I'm sure but I will try.

Such rude and hostile night employees, if you do not like your job you shouldn't work retail. People go to work and take out all their problems and frustrations out on customers. Stay away from Clinton location!!

I had the worst experience I think ever at Cvs today. I went to return a knee cuff I had purchased a few hours earlier because it didnt fit right. I gave the girl my receipt and had my card and the item. She kept coming up showing I owed them money I said I just would like to return. Well Paola comes over Can't figure out their register and said come back when a mgr is here or pay 18.00......uhhhhhh?????? I said why am I paying to return???? She said come back I said who is the mgr??? She said ME I said and you cant help me?? Nope I tried and NOW go leave to another STORE I will not help you Meanwhile I'm holding a 40.00 item I was not happy She marched off and talking in Spanish super loud at me I went to Pharmacy calmly told the girl what I needed and what happened She takes receipt and item My card Boom bang boom Heres your refund to your card U are all set have a good day Well Thank you for such great service from the pharmacy Paola should not be managing or dealing with people I heard her also tell someone it was too late to get their discount...an elderly lady So shes a BASKET CASE and again she should not be working with the public No wonder CVS sales are down???? Hmmm

Saturday May 20th 1:29 PM. As I approached the pharmacy I noticed an employee was pulling the gate shut. I stopped her and asked what was going on? We are on lunch she shot back. I asked if I could quickly pick up one prescription, she said no. I was caught off guard, whats the big deal I thought. I asked to speak with the pharmacy manager and I heard a voice from the back yelling."we are closed for lunch.Several months back I had all of my prescriptions changed to Guilford CVS due to this type of behavior. The workers there are always polite and have the medication on site. The lack of customer service in Clinton's pharmacy is a shame.I had been at urgent care earlier in the day and didnt want to drive the extra 20 minutes to Guilford and said I will use the Clinton store for just this once. I should of known better.Never again. Jim Hirst

The managers and some of the staff need to binge on some costumer service videos! It's really simple...Good morning, Good afternoon, Good evening sir or ma'am...how can I help you? That one was free...no charge. Leave your problems at home and take some pride into doing your JOBS!

If you have to go to cvs and can get to Madison, guilford, or Saybrook just go there. They might actually have what you're looking for in stock.

Normally I would let things like this go but, I feel that this needs to be addressed. I went to The CVS in Clinton because my regular pharmacy didn’t have my sons prescription. I sat in the drive through and waited to be next at the window. Once I approached the window the pharmacist says that they don’t have my insurance info on file so they need my card. I get my insurance card and hand it to the woman and she proceeds to tell me that this is not the right card and that I should have a separate card for prescriptions. I politely told her that I’ve never had this issue and this is the only card that mine and my husbands insurance company sends us still she says “no, you have a separate card. They always send separate cards. My father belonged in the union and they always had separate cards. So it’ll be $65 out of pocket.” Politely again I said “this is the only card we’ve ever received and I’ve never had this issue anywhere else.” And because of the people behind me and the fact that our conversation wasn’t going anywhere, I told her I’m going to I guess have to talk with my husband and see what to do then. I left and drove all the way back home (mind you, I’m in Killingworth so it’s out of my direction as is and I had all 3 of my children in the car while one was sick and needed this medicine). Well, after getting home I called my regular pharmacy and they told me all the info was on the card I had located on the back of the card and that’s what they had on file. I called the pharmacy at Clinton and explained the situation obviously frustrated that I had to drive all the way back there. Low and behold, I drove all the way back to Clinton CVS after their staff member decided to go back and forth with me insinuating I was wrong and she was right. I finally got my prescription but had to jump through hoops to get it. The point of this review is to hopefully rectify the way their pharmacy staff members talk to people. This was a major inconvenience for me that easily would have been avoided if their staff member hadn’t told me I was wrong and insinuated she was correct. The info was on the card that I gave her so she either did not see it or didn’t care to look. My point, probably not a good idea to challenge a customer on something you don’t know for 100% fact. Not great customer service.

They dont keep a very good stock of shelf items of food, of toilet paper or paper towels, or of cat products. These shelves leave a lot of room for items and the last 3 times Ive walked over for essentials, they are barren accept for maybe 1 single item to purchase. Plus they lock their doors early and they tell you its closer to closing than what it is. Last these items were all atleast 2 or 3 dollars more for each, than the drive to convient store down the street. This was my 3rd experience like this; last night. Next time Ill save the walk, because even some refrigerator items were exired (the whole cheese/egg fridge). It's disappointing furthermore to read these terrible pharmacy reveiws. Not a happy neighbor.

Moustafa is a wonderful store manager and I had a pleasure working for him. The pharmacy and front-store employees are always very welcoming & friendly, especially Crystal. She is the most hardest working employee I've ever known, a great asset to CVS. You go girl!
