Captain Kurt’s was a great place for our cat while we were away. Valentina kept us updated with pictures and videos and texts which made our time away more relaxing!

Just gave my two Siamese cats a mini vacation at Capt. Kitt’s . They always return curious to check out their home and then settle down for a nap. They are calm and back to normal. I believe they do enjoy the pampering and affection at Capt. Kitt’s. Valentina is a gem and we feel very secure handing over our fur babies. Thank you!A four year customer here.

We felt at ease leaving our three cats with Captain Kitt’s! When picking up, we could tell they were well cared for while we couldn’t be with them. I would recommend them to anyone looking for cat boarding!

Captain Kitt's is a very unique pet boarding facility that caters to cats. They have various boarding options, including views of bird feeders and fish tanks. No dogs or other stressors, just a tranquil kitty friendly atmosphere. We brought our prior cat here before he passed, as he had a heart murmur, and we wanted him to have more supervision when we were away. We now have two new kittens, who are both special needs, and wanted to make sure that medication was administered as needed. So even though it's 30 minutes from our house, we feel it's worth the drive for the care that they receive. Our girls (who are sisters) shared a unit. This helped with costs as the price is per unit, not per cat. The owner, Val, suggested a horizontal unit, because one of our girls has cerebellar hypoplasia and can't climb up onto other levels. It was thoughtful of her to think of that, I wasn't thinking about the implications of the unit shape or size, I just wanted them to have space and a nice view. The facility is very clean - when you go in, you don't smell cats at all...which is a major accomplishment when there are so many cats (and litter boxes) in such a small space. And they send photos and videos of your cats to you so that you know everyone is doing well. We are so grateful for the care our cat gets at Captain Kitt's! He is 16. We have used them several times when we had 2 cats as well. He loves the ability to watch birds out the window or see the fish tanks. They let you know your kitty has settles in. Our cat takes meds and they are reliable for that too. Clean and roomy accommodations! He’s scheduled for another visit next month. We wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thank you, Captain Kitt’s!!

Athena and her “human family” positively LOVE Captain Kitt’s!!!!??? Athena has a window view of a lovely garden full of butterflies, birds, and squirrels to watch, and the kind and loving staff give her plenty of pets and fun activities during the day. She gets her food fixed just like I do at home, which makes her very happy!! The owner, Val, clearly loves cats, and she shares a video and updates while we are away. She is so very kind and reassuring, which allows us the peace of mind to enjoy our vacation, knowing our precious Athena is in her loving care! I wish I could give Captain Kitt’s 10 stars ⭐️ !!??????

Val ( the owner ) of Captain Kitts & her experienced staffare absolutely excellent, at what they do. They are extremely observant and detailed with your animal. The facility is clean and has many different ways of stimulating your animal while they are visiting .. how do you like that? They do everything that is needed and some, and on top of that they’re empathetic , caring ,and loving!! Sometimes Val’s husband even helps out .. but all I can tell you is that I’ve used this facility many times, and my cats always come back happy and well cared for! This boarding facility for CATS ONLY , is absolutely a rarity!! I , BEYOND HIGHLY RECOMMEND CAPTAIN KITTS !! And the other thing is when cats don’t hear dogs barking. It takes the stress off of them even though some cats do get along with dogs , not all do..Tina & Will / Mystic , Ct

If you have cats and you’re not boarding them here than you should start. Val and her staff are amazing. I have 6 cats including one who needs meds twice a day and I have zero worries when I drop them off. Very clean facility and it really resembles a 5-star cat resort.

Boarding our cat for the first time was a necessary thing in order to take a long awaited vacation. We were very lucky to have Captain Kitt's available to us. They treat their guests with respect and loving care and posted video and snapshots to put out minds at ease. We will definitely use them again when we travel again.

My cats stayed here for the first time this past week and I can tell they were well cared for.If you're looking for a safe, clean, quiet place for your cats to stay - this is the place! Val and her staff are so friendly and clearly care about the cats that stay here. My cats will absolutely be staying with them again in the future!

I cannot say enough great things about Captain Kitts! My husband and I had never boarded our 5 year old cat, Mango, anywhere before. We were nervous pet parents. Val, the owner assured us that they would take the best possible care of Mango. We were impressed by the videos we'd watched, that Captain Kitts is kept meticulously clean, and that only cats belonging to the same household are allowed to socialize together. On the day we arrived, Val gave us a tour (pre-arranged), and we were even more impressed and knew that our kitty would be well cared for. Because Mango eats only prescription food, we brought in his food, with feeding instructions. He wasn't eating (probably nervous), so the tech started petting him and he ate. When she stopped petting him, Mango would stop eating. So, the tech pet Mango the whole time he ate & talked sweetly to him. Eating 4 meals a day required a lot of pets, so we are grateful for all the time she took making him feel comfortable enough to eat. From the feedback we received, Mango adapted very well. In fact, I don't think he missed me or my husband! We highly recommend Captain Kitts!
