I have been a client of this salon for thirty plus years. The ladies at Regina Richards are nothing short of professional, they are well trained and up-to-date on all of the new processes and continue with To keep up with the latest trends. I've had long hair, I've had short hair, I've had hair everywhere in between with all sorts of different colors along the way and it's been a fun journey through all these years. I have never left unhappy or dissatisfied with the service I have received. My daughter has routinely traveled from New York City for the last 15 years to have her haircut and my son and his wife come from Wallingford to have their haircut. Mary is a warm loving caring human being who would never send a client out unhappy unless that client was absolutely guano psychotic. You may have read another review about an unhappy customer, but if you read any of her reviews all five of them are miserable and have something nasty to say. So Mustang Sally I think you should probably check for a burr under your saddle blanket and remove it. The only person you're making me look bad and reviews like this is yourself. I highly recommend any of the stylists At Regina Richard Hair Studio.

RUN! The OWNER IS A CROOK! I went to this Salon/ Garage from a referral from my neighbor as my salon closed. I sent pics. Prior and asked if she thought she could achieve what I was looking for. She said, oh yes no problem! Well, my hair was blonde with some growth at the root. I had some brown and gray and the back was pretty much my natural color. She colored my hair BLACK! ALL OF IT! Then, when I went into shock and said I wanted to stop, she took her arms put them on each side of me, on the arms of the chair and blocked me in and in my face, said I needed to let her finish. I knew my hair was never going to be what it was and putting highlights on the black hair was going to look ridiculous. She then took me outside and just drilled it into my head how it was blonde. PLEASE UNDERSTAND, I WAS IN SHOCK! I let her finish, people go with your gut, I knew and didn't, feeling so pressured! I should have known when there was hair all over the floor at her station, and she said I didn't have to wear a mask and she didn't wear one the whole time I was there. I will say her employees did. She then did the worst highlights I ever had done, her "assistant" just slopped color on a brush handed it to her and hopefully I can show the bunched up foils on here. Not even folded. I get my hair done every 3 weeks at least cut as its short so I know how it goes. THE CUT... She butchered it, I now look like a spotty leppard. I have a huge long BALD spot down the back of the left side of my head where she used a hand razor which I told her I don't like razors and kept chopping at the spots of color to break them up instead of putting color over them. I waited until the next evening to write her as I cried for two days mortified. She never said sorry she took $240 and refused to refund me anything. I wrote her kindly to see if she would refund me without asking letting her know How unhappy I was and she said she hopes I find someone that can give me what I'm looking for. She bashed my old stylist, whom I said was able to lift my color and did a great job but wasn't returning as she was pregnant and they went out of business sadly. The salon is NOT worth the money and she should have refunded me my money she couldn't fix me going around with a huge bald spot. She a dirty woman! She took my money and waited to tell me the cost until after I was colored.. I've never paid so much for a mess. I have gone to high end salons and yes have paid almost this much but not for this quality of work, the place is a construction garage and barren and they talk about you fyi.. But board of health should check up on this place because for that much money I shouldn't have to sit and step in someone else's black hair! Your a dirty woman Mary Ann. And...15 minutes late, wasn't even there when I got there. Sat in my car for 1/2 hr.
