Karen the owner is fabulous and so is the store. I found many terrific stylish items, especially dresses! I bought 7 dresses that I love. Also tops, pants, hats, and jewelry. Worth a special trip to Chester CT to shop at Lark. You will love it.

Every time we go to Chester I browse this store and I love everything in there.I've never purchased any clothes but today there was a Sale rack for winter tops and I purchased 4 tops - had to get my feet wet! I can't wait to wear them.

Beautiful boutique (with a sale shelf by the dressing room that I scored an awesome candle on!), the owner is wonderful and very helpful! It’s a great mix of high quality clothing, accessories, candles, books and gifty items. There is also a sweet children’s section.I purchased a fish print blouse that I can’t wait to wear!

This is a great place to shop for gifts and clothing, jewelry, hats,etc. Friendly staff and they will leave you alone to browse or help you at your request. I needed to know if earrings had nickel in wires. They called the company to find out! If you want a good day trip for fun or shop stop in area, go support this local shop in Chester, CT

Great finds Friendly staff Good rotation If you've been to Chester CT even once, you know "quaint" is in the top three descriptors of anything contained therein. That applies to Lark in spades. Walking into this shop, you immediately grasp the variety available between decorations, women's clothes, little token items like soaps, and a treasure trove of thoughtful gift options. Plenty of shops can offer a decent selection, but perhaps not as well as Lark rotates their options, which is a real draw here - to see what's available each time you visit. However, even better yet is that when you reach for a price tag in Chester, you'll typically be prepared for sticker shock...and that's simply not the case at Lark, which is an outstanding feeling. Reasonable prices for quality finds that meet a variety of gift-giving needs is a business well worth sharing. Highly recommended.
