Chakana Sky Alpacas is an active, picturesque alpaca farm offering family-friendly, educational, and personalized farm tours by appointment. Visitors describe it as an amazing, one-of-a-kind experience and an incredible treasure. The owner is super nice, sweet, delightful, incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and clearly cares deeply for the alpacas. Tours are customized, allowing guests to feed the friendly alpacas, learn about their different personalities, and spend time up close with them in a very clean and comfortable setting. The farm has a great little gift shop, a farm store carrying yarn made from the farm's own animal fiber as well as a large variety of clothing items and gifts. The experience is highly recommended for the young or young at heart, is very reasonably priced, and the surrounding area is also adorable to check out. The farm is closed for the winter from January through March, reopening April 1, 2024, and is open by appointment or scheduled event most days from 10 AM to 4 PM.

My wife and I very much enjoyed our visit with Bill, and feeding and learning about his fluffy (woolly? fleecy? fibrous?) friends. Even in a short time, we were able to confirm that, as he says, they have different personalities. Recommended for the young, or young at heart.

I had such a great experience visiting the alpacas and I learned so much from Bill during our visit. He is a wealth of knowledge and clearly cares deeply for his alpacas. What an incredible treasure right here in Chester. Highly recommend a visit. They also have a great little gift shop.
