The story- I was in a rush because I thought the Post Office closed at 12- realized later that I was looking at the PO in Cheshire, Massachusetts. Jumped in the car to get there at 11:59 and saw 12:30 on the door. I had rushed out without properly wrapping my item in order to make it there but now had plenty of time yet not enough to go back home to get a better box. The box I had with me was 2 inches too small. I had to ship today because it was an online sale that needed to be shipped out in 3 days; it was the 3rd day. Now 12:10 pm, in my car in the parking lot trying to adjust the wrong size box to fit a wreathe without damaging it. I made it work although the box was dilapidated and ridiculous looking. I used the rest of my tape to cover openings where the box was tilted. (If I purchased a box for $7, my profit would be even less than the $20 I sold it for so wanted to avoid buying one.) The door was just locked when I was done - it was 12:31. 20 minutes wrestling with the box in my car went by fast. Luckily they saw me and unlocked the door, (maybe it was my look of disgust and despair.) They didn’t have to but I appreciate that they did! The clincher, while it was being weighed, the employee heard a text ding. — I actually packaged up my phone inside (Yes I am admitting to that)!! — Anyway, he kindly opened the package so I could get my phone out and offered to retape it for me. Now it is 12:35, borrowed time. Thank YOU!!! Had he not noticed the faint ding, I would’ve shipped my cell phone with the wreathe I sold for $20!! ? (I hope the wreath makes it to Florida without damages considering my ill-fitting box and toddler tape job but maybe he improved its durability as he was taping when I left.? )Moreover, anytime I have come to this post office over the last 20 years, the employees have been very friendly, kind, resourceful and today - extremely patient. Thank YOU!

The worst service we have received in a Post Office. They canceled our son's passport appointment and did not notify us, we lost the trip and the lady who attended us spoke to us upset about having to explain to us the reason for the cancellation.

I had to contact this post office due to a weird text I got which i assumed was a fraud attempt. The woman who answered was absolutely the rudest person who I have have had to deal with. She kept on running her mouth and refused to listen to what I was trying to explain to her and was obviously too lazy to do anything on my behalf. Refused to give me her name. Management here obviously knows there is a problem and allows this kind of stuff to keep on occurring. I'm going to go to the location and attempt to file a complaint against her . These people like this are leeches that we are indirectly paying through our taxes who take no pride or accountability for their job. Do not allow them to speak to you with complete arrogance file complaint make complaints and follow up or we will be stuck with the same low class individuals to deal with multiple times

This post office provides a poor customer service. Staff are rude and inpatient. They do not respect your passport appointment, and call you whenever the line is over. From now on I will go to another post office and avoid this one at all.

I love the professionalism of the staff and how they really care about every single package or letter that you mail and make sure that you get the best price and the best service. The staff is pleasant and friendly there's always a kind word to share. I wish that I could give them maybe six stars instead of five!

The service is like you are in a fish market.But what to do they are the nearest post office to my house.I do not understand why the management are keeping quit about this bad service place ?!?!?!?

Place is run by hacks. They close early and will watch you literally standing there trying to figure out why both doors are locked. And the guys physically just back there just bro-ing down at the desk Snickering at us customers trying to figure out what’s going on. If you really have to mail something go here. But for the love of God use another post office

Helpful Staff - I am surprised at some of the negative reviews. I have been using them for over 5 years and have had no issues. Sure, there may be lines, but there are lines everywhere.

I have always had very pleasant experiences at this post office. Though lines can be long, they move fairly quickly. Corey and Kevin have always been particularly helpful.

Years later, I still have issues. Now they're delivering my packages to a different street with the same number... disappointingHad a package that was supposed to come on Monday, it was a birthday present for my girlfriend. Postman put the package in the wrong mail box but put a magazine with my correct address in the right mail box. After an aggravating experience on the phone he calls me and basically tells me too bad wait till tomorrow. Next day comes he literally crams my package in the tiny mailbox along with other mail he must have been leaving in the wrong mail box...needless to say the packaging was destroyed, the present barely made it, and half of the mail was ripped to shreds from him stuffing everything in at once. Not a good experience to say the least.

Very unpleasant employee, went twice to cash a money order & without even looking in her cash drawer with attitude she told me I told u before we had enough business in the day for that amount of cash,meanwhile I was in a full line for 15 minutes ,with people dropping of packages & paying! I will never recommend this postal service or step a foot in it!!! Poor customer service very disappointed

Consistently experiencing discriminatory service from a tenured representative at this location. The worst part is speaking with the manager today was extremely condescending. I had to type and email a formal complaint because of the obvious lack of customer service from this 1 particular employee. Amidst a global pandemic the last thing anyone needs is added negativity.
