Fairly priced inventory with some items found to be aggressively discounted priced from time to time. You can find some nice clothes sometimes too and spend much less. Great place to browse and I usually end up picking up something without breaking the bank”

“We purchased a mattress and headboard. The woman who helped us (forgive us, but we never got her name) was absolutely fabulous. She has great product knowledge, products, features and benefits, inventory, and she even hauled the items out for us and helped us get it all into our van. The price was amazing, too. ????????????”
“This place has gotten substantially better. Staff is helpful and friendly. It has also stepped up in cleaning the store. Still a bit cluttered, but it is way better than a few months ago. Went on a Sunday, and even though there was a good number of customers, the checkout was very quick because they added people as soon as they were able.”
“It has a bunch of stuff. Definitely find good deals in these stores. So I can't complain about anything like that. They have my dog food which I can't find anywhere. Just seems like the stores are always so nice and clean when they first open, and then slowly but surely they get flipped upside down. Some worst than others. It hasn't stopped me from going to Dollar General, I just avoid certain locations now. I mean, there are enough of them around.”

“Large, spacious store. Unlike other dollar stores nearby. I like the combined concept of both stores. Dollar Tree when you walk in and Family Dollar on the other. If you can't find a specific item on one side, chances are they have it on the other side. Great if you were looking for $1.25 items, but also want to pick up name brand groceries and home items. This location is primarily a Family Dollar with FD receipts and bags. That means you can also use their app at checkout to redeem their coupons and offers. So far, still very clean and stocked neatly. Brought a long vacant space back to life.”
“Dont sleep on dollar tree!! For 1.25 you can get just about anything. Sometimes you get what you pay for but rather lose 1.25 than to lose 6.00 somewhere else. My only complaint; why is it dollar trees mission to only have one cashier working at the busiest times of the day?”

“I’m new to the area, I’ve been looking for a great Latino owned supermarket that’s close, and a friend told me about Save a lot. I love it so much, very clean, great prices, wonderful shopping experience. Not to mention this wonderful young man named Alex even helped me with my groceries. He was so nice I remembered his name lol! I don’t even think he worked at the register, he saw I needed help and just stepped in like the perfect gentleman. I’ll definitely shop there again.”
“I walked in to buy a drink and a snack. I found a Gem of a store thinking of the people... EGGS are being sold for. Only 369 cents I believe see the picture ive attached for actual price marked by this store. Way to go a store for the people. Get there fast before their gone.”

“Many of the workers are very friendly even when customers are rude to them. The store could be kept cleaner but it would help if customers put things back where they got them from. Not just where they decided not to buy it. I feel bad for the workers. Yes they are paid to upkeep the store but they shouldn't have to follow behind people to keep the store clean. Someone said it's the most ghetto store. I agree. But maybe people need to start taking care of the store with some respect. You don't want it to look ghetto then don't treat it ghetto. I don't see other stores looking like this. Why? Because the people don't act like they don't care and just throw things where ever they land. I don't see how the employees can handle picking up after that many people. The only reason I give the store a 4 instead of a 1 is because the workers trying to keep it as they do.”

“Employees are very helpful. Whenever I ask about an item or what they always help me by looking for it and also gives me other options related to that item.They always say hi to me and other customers when you walk in. Well...of course if they are busy with customer or in the back putting stuff on shelf, they dont say hi.The reason I gave 4 stars is coz most items are bit pricey for just few items in the package.Store just a bit tight, I wish they could expand their store since now the space next door is vacant used to be medical office, they should expand and put frozen foods and more selections like balloons for bday, etc. Other than that, they've been friendly and helpful”

“I’ve been to many Dollar Trees in the area. They are usually the same.Close out products and lots of their own brand items.The past 2 years I have noticed that they are selling SOME Holiday decor items comparable to Michaels and Hobby Lobby for a fraction of the cost (usually $1.25 - although in some in some of the posher communities they have small sections called Dollar Tree Plus of which items can cost up to $5).The store in Cheshire is definitely one of the cleaner stores and the cashier there are severely overworked.Each and EVERY time I go there, they only have one cashier with the line 6-15 deep with her going on the overhead speaker between customers saying “Back up” with a pleading and hopeful look on her face.The ladies (sorry boys I have never seen a male at this location…probably accounts for the tidiness of the location) all seem to be very helpful - but as l mentioned the employees who work the register are visibly frustrated.Now that I live in Cheshire, I will probably not be going to the other locations as much…My opinion of the other local stores-Wallingford - 4/5North Haven - 4/5Hamden - 2/5Meriden 2/5”
