One of the worst experiences I ever had at a CVS I left the store in tears. I brought a script from my vet for a fentanyl patch and the man behind the counter was extremely rude and treated me as if I was an addict trying to score the patch. He interrogated me in front of everyone asking how much my dog weighed, what dog did I have, what surgery did she need, what medication was she on right now and when I said pain management he wouldn’t stop asking till I gave him the medication name. He said the dosage didn’t make sense and was very rude. There was something wrong with the script and he was very happy to slide it back and said he refuses to fill it. I got the new script came back and asked to speak to a manager and when he approached I told him I didn’t want to speak to him and he kept trying to talk to me saying he had every right to ask questions but when I first brought the script the day before he refused to call the vet for verification. I called the store manager after leaving and she apologized and said she would speak to the pharmacy manager about this and took my name and number but no one ever followed up and to me it seems like he got away with the way he treated me.

Everyone is nice enough here but the pharmacy line is always too long and moves too slow and it doesn't seem to bother anyone too much that people are waiting so long. Their computer and payment processing system is not adequate for 2023. You really can get there any time of day and you may be waiting for 15 minutes for a 15-second prescription pickup because every transaction seems to take 5 minutes. May have better luck using the drive-thru.

If you need a Covid test done by a facility to return to work don’t get it done here. Says in the email confirmation you will get a text with your results. At the drive thru I was told I would receive a call within 20 minutes with my results, not a message. I needed the results in writing to be authorised to return to work. But they didn’t even call me back I had to call them an hour and 40 minutes later to get my results. Again, still not in writing. After going back and forth with the pharmacy and 1-800-SHOP-CVS I finally got my written results but it was already the following day and I had to miss another day of work because nobody seems to know how their own system works.

All the employees are very helpful and friendly! The outside of the building needs a good power washing and cleaning. Looks like it’s been a while.!

This is NOT a safe location. 1. You can not call in a script number for refill on automated number when store is closed. 2. They are a small store and do not have the stock required to fill meds. 3. Critical care meds alwaysys delayed because they have to order them even if you are on auto fill, this putting customer life in danger 4. They do not have time to address customer concerns therefore they scream at you they have other customers more important. 5. They verbally abuse by yelling at senior citizens, geriatrics and hearing impaired customers. 6. Pharmacy managers, specifically young long haired brunette short female, attack on a Sr citizen almost sent customer into cardiac arrest. VERY DANGEROUS LOCATION. This location needs to be closed down. So much screaming and yelling.

No cashier's or staff to assist customers. The pharmacy, on it's best day, is adequate. The CVS on South Main Street is manged properly, the store at 581 Highland Avenue is pitifully staffed and managed.

I went to get steroids for my 3 year old daughter that is having respiratory issues and was hospitalized for, a couple of days ago. It took them 10 minutes after I was out of the window in the drive thru. When they gave me the medicine I notice it doesn’t have a mask and my daughter doesn’t know how to take the medicine without the mask. When I asked for the mask, the pharmacist working on May 7, 2022 sometime after 5pm said that the doctor prescribed it but it was scheduled, which I did not understand what it meant. I asked what it meant she said the plan doesn’t pay for it until later date because a similar tube was prescribed. I said that the tube needs to be connected to the mask, that’s why the doctor prescribed it, and she said that I can come tomorrow and ask for it because she was about to close and there was another car behind me. I told her I can pay for the mal with my HSA and she repeated to me she needed to attend the next car and I can come back tomorrow. My 3 year old daughter have been thru so much the past week and a half a hospitalization and multiple doctors visits. I cried in the car for 10 minutes because I felt so powerless as this is a respiratory medicine and she cannot use the steroids nor the abuterol that was prescribed three days ago because she needs the mask to take these medicines. Unbelievable that care providers can be so selfish, that pharmacist, she just wanted to go home knowing that I did not have proper equipment that’s was prescribed to me and available and I had the money to pay for, and could end up back in the hospital without treatment. I am going to escalate this issue to CVS management.
