Scott is the best. He really knows color and won't let you ruin your hair with bleach. After years of self-ruining my hair at other salons with bleach highlights that I thought would look great, my hair was pretty damaged. Scott took me back in without a shameful word. I could not be happier. I've had so many compliments about how great (and healthy) my hair looks.

Every reviewer for this guy seems to think he is the second coming of Paul Mitchell, but I would like to be the lone dissenting opinion because I based my decision to go there on the completely glowing reviews and I was disappointed so I want people to know it isn't all wine and roses at the Asylum.

Meh. He wasn't cheap and I didn't really get what I wanted. I thought hard about whether or not I should write this review because I let him talk me out of what I wanted and I have to take some responsibility for that because I agreed to it, but when I left his salon my feelings about what he did to my hair were MEH. It wasn't awful, just extremely boring and not what I wanted. It would be one thing if he talked me out of my vision and then left me feeling WOW about my hair, but I just ended up this super mousy bland color. For 85 bucks I expect a little zing, and he just didn't do that. I think he may cater to an older clientele.

I was recommended by a friend to check out Scott after she walked into work with her hair looking perfect one day. The shine was unbelievable and in need of a closer salon I figured it was a sign. Scott was professional, quick, and extremely reasonable too. The salon was top of the line and full of fun touches too. I cannot wait to go back. Thank you Scott!

I've been going to Scott for over 15 years. He's an expert and lots of fun at his salon (unless you hate music)! I always look great and feel relaxed when I leave there.
