Experience #1 - I went to a nearby dealer to buy a part. I got talked into doing a test at the dealer and they came back saying I didn't need the part and that the real issue was my water pump. They wanted to charge over $1K for the total repair. A friend recommended Ron's Automotive. It was late in the day and I called his shop and told him I needed a new water pump. His quote was a lot lower. I got to his shop after hours and dropped my car and key off without meeting Ron or anyone there. Early the next morning I got a call and Ron explained that I didn't need a new water pump. All I needed was a the part that I was originally going to buy. The quote he gave me for the repair was more than fair.

Bill was honest, knowledgeable, down to earth, and very quick with the work on my 2009 Subaru. The labor rate of $95 is very reasonable and I like supporting small business. I'd recommend Ron's to anyone and I'll be returning for future work.

I took my car to a Major dealership in Plainville. My car was tested and diagnosed with a waterpump replacement and which would cost me over $1K. A family friend recommended I call Ron's shop. After a short phone call I had quote for under $500 dollars for the same repair. I dropped the car off and got a call the next morning informing me that I didn't need a water pump and that I only needed a minor repair that was around $200. Ron is honest, fair and deserves your business. I look forward to working with him again.

It's great knowing that if I have a car problem -- or even THINK I have a car problem -- Ron's Automotive is there to diagnose and fix it. I trust Ron's judgment and honesty and would buy a used car from him in a heartbeat...that is, if I needed one! Ron keeps my cars in good enough shape that it might be years before that happens.

Ron has worked on all of our cars - with our Jeep Grand Cherokee being the most recent. Overheating and would not restart - worried about blown head gasket... Got it to start and brought to Ron's his crew had it done in a few hours - new thermostat and radiator - great local people and quick service - give them a shot.
