This is my "GO TO" location for every occasion! I am treated like family the minute I walk through their front doors. The product combined with the trustworthy knowledgeable staff is perfection! I look forward to my next visit.

Today I stopped to do a little shopping on my way back to Hartford. I'm from out-of-state and shop at many JJill stores across the country because my job requires travel. Never once was I asked if I needed help from any of the staff. Never once when I came out to get different sizes was I asked if I need assistance. I gathered what I wanted and went up to pay and put down four items. The older, rude woman asked me "You want all of this?" She seemed surprised I was buying four items! I said yes. She never made eye contact, so I was cold. We finished the transaction and as some other people came is she was very friendly. Overly friendly. They were white. I am not white. I can't say the color of my skin lead to the rude service but the woman almost seemed surprised I was spending over $200 at the store (which is not a huge amount for me). I will also say this is the first time I have ever written a review because I felt the color of my skin impacted my shopping experience.

Great service. This European woman who works there is such an expert and knew exactly what my wife would like! She was so upbeat and you could tell she really enjoys working there. Couldn't have done it without her, she helped me make my wife's birthday presents awesome! Also picked up a store card for the specials and discounts, wife loves it!

The manager on duty and sales clerk were not friendly or attentive toward me; yet the manager chatted up three other customers in the store my entire visit. I spent almost $800 in the store that day, I would assume that the large pile of clothing I had would garner some sort of Sincere courtesy. My store experience was unpleasant due to their uncomfortable manner toward me. I am taking my business elsewhere; to a clothing store where the staff are intelligent enough to treat all of their patrons as valued customers. I am unsubscribing from all of the email newsletters as well; because every time I receive one, I have to think about how badly I felt when I left the store.

I always try to order on line so I don't have to go to that location which is very close to where I live because of the unhappy grumpy unhelpful women who work there. They are unwelcoming ,lazy ,unhelpful and everyone feels like why she not the other employees would help the customer. Either the Manager is kinda not in control Of her store or doesn't know how to run a store or she just as bad as her employees .
