There's better shops in town, you may have to make an appointment & wait a few days to get your vehicle in to Dave's, but you'll be glad you did. I will not go back to Arnold's or recommend them to anyone.

Ty was great! He notified me about the time, was concerned for my safety and the safe operation of my car. Ty was professional, personable, and knowledgeable of his trade. I wished I lived in Canaan because if he is an example of the mechanics working in the garage , I’d try them out to service my car.

Prices seem high. I just paid $151 for a oil change! I was happy with the quality of the service but left wishing I had called around to get estimates from other service providers.

Johnny was an awesome help getting my E30 out of a gas station back almost 100 miles to my place. One of the most helpful and friendly tow truck drivers I've had the pleasure of talking to! 10/10 would tow again.

They did a great job fixing up my daughter subaru. We're 2 to 3 hours away and I was really comfortable with these guys taking care of her car! Car looks great reasonable price!

I was visiting for the week, and wanted to get an oil change done so I randomly looked up Arnold's and gave them a try. They were very friendly and quick and finished the oil change pretty quickly. As I was leaving I discovered a problem with my car's hood latch, and the team at Arnold's diagnosed the problem and order the part for me to have it fixed the very next day. I highly recommend!

I'm super happy with the service and I don't even have my car back yet. The team at Arnold's is great, and I appreciate Gary's timely communication about what's happening with my car, and dealing with a fussy insurance company over the holidays. Thank you!

Arnold saved us! Our car broke down in the middle of the road late at night and Arnold's shop was the only one around for miles that was willing to come tow us. They also did a great repair job and ended up charging us less than they originally quoted because Arnold found a simpler, cost-effective way to make a fix. Efficient, trustworthy, reliable.

I am the AAA member I should have 1 year warranty with part
In January last year, the car alternator was broken, so I was recommended this place for aaa toeing.He grinds up not only alternators but also new batteries that are less than a year old but they changed without my permission .And in less than a year, the alternator is broken against. I called AAA's Toeing again and left the car at Arnold Garage.They also replace alternators and batteries.It's a new battery that's been less than a year, and even if you grind it, the battery that's been discharged once must be replaced and they charged me full amount against all the money.I had to change two alternators and two batteries not even 1 year

So I found this garage to get an emissions test done, required for CT. While I was there I decide to have my brakes looked at, I'm planning a trip and I bought the vehicle without service records. They came back stating the brake pads were very worn and should be replaced. They could get me in right away... I decided to do the work myself, thanked them and paid the 30.00 for the inspection. A week later when I pulled off the rear wheels where the worst wear was suppose to be, I found pads with better then half life. And to make matters worse the lugs on the passenger side of the vehicle were just snugged, Just the weight of the beaker bar spun the lug's. So I was provided with paperwork/receipt for the work performed, That I didn't look at before finding this out. And conveniently it say's only brake inspection.... Nothing about worn pads as verbally communicated to me.Service: General repairs & maintenance
