Brought my special lady for our 1st anniversary dinner here and I was very impressed, felt a little like the legendary Tavern on the Green. Great staff, great group of customers, a very warm atmosphere. I started with a bowl of chilli ? that was incredible!! Even with lots of beans, the flavor and beef chunks were outstanding. Debbie had a bowl of Clam Chowder that she really liked, which I would have loved because of the onions and celery. I had two pork carnitas tacos with pickled onions, shredded cheddar, and saracha creamy topping, yummmm me!! I also had a rueben egg roll with the perfect thousand island type dipping sauce. Just look how they layered the meat, quality to the Nth! She had the Tavern burger, rare, and it was "cooked" perfectly. We both shared the wonderfully, slightly greasy/ crispy, thin onion rings, they were very yummy, and the skin on tasty French fries, we both loved them all. Our visit here was a wonderful experience!! Thank you Melissa and the rest of the wonderful crew!!

A must visit in the winter months! The indoor decoration is so cozy and makes you want to hang out, sipping a beverage of your choice, enjoying convivial conversation. The waitstaff is nice and the food is reliably satisfying. Yet another reason to visit this wonderful town.

Decided to travel a ways from my CT town to the rural town of Burlington CT near Harwington. Found Greenhouse on Google and figured I'd give it a shot. Spring and summer pictures entering the driveway of this place to eat show it as a beautiful sight. With mounds of snow, I didn't get the advantage of the beautiful pond or pentiful vegetation that I saw customers snapped photos, but given my experience, I'd leave it to my next visit When you pull in, there is a market in the front with dirt road parking, but to enjoy a dine in experience, you must drive up around back and park. The landscape is very farmy with literal barns in the back, and the building you enter with outdoor seating (when it's not February and snow covered) is literally stylized like a GREENHOUSE with sheer curtains draped over the translucent walls to the outside. They've got propane heaters out here, but I can't imagine they seat anyone out there during the coldest months. You wait in the closed door Greenhouse dining area for a hostess to seat you. Bring a jacket in the winter just in case you've got to wait a few minutes. Not a problem for my daughter and me, but the thin-skinned patrons who are new to Greenhouse might not be as expected. Imagine if you want you can wait inside the main section as well. It wasn't clear. The service was great. They were cheerful and good mannered. The speed is a little slow given the customer flow, but I'll chalk it up to a one-off occurrence. It could also be a seasonal thing or the fact that the weather wasn't ideal. The food was AWESOME. I started off with meatballs from the starter, and I'd have to say that the meatballs were probably one of the best I've had at any restaurant. They serve them to you in a mini cast iron pan. Which gives you the chance t9 scrape away the sticky cheese of the cast iron to top those meatballs. I got what appears to be the most popular online ordering option. The Station One Burger. The burger was cooked to the right inside. The toppings were plentiful and offered the right texture per bite. They serve the burger with what appears to be handcut fries (one of the best choices) and a pickle. My daughter got a Build Your Pizza, and it looked good as well. I had the unfortunate joy of sitting next to whining old couple who complained about the smallest thing to earn themselves a discount. Sometimes, you can't make everyone happy. All in all, I'll be back for a 2nd round at Greenhouse when the view is a little more Green. Everything was outstanding food wise, and will look to give the speed of service another shot before updating my review. I recommend giving them a try. I saw that their dinner menu was even more appetizing than the great lunch I had.

We were taking a day trip and found this restaurant on our route. I would expect that the grounds are prettier during the warm weather. The restaurant is very rustic and cozy inside. I ordered the Falafel Tacos. Disappointing to say the least. They were overcooked to the point I could not even eat them. When I was asked how my meal was, I told them. I was charged full price for a meal I hardly ate. Very dissatisfying.

Been there before and had an amazing meal, apart from pizza dough undercooked Today gave it another chance but unfortunately consistency is the key for retaining customers We ordered the same amazing salad as last time, this time wasn't that good I ordered the chicken special wasn't special raw chicken! After making a concern to the staff I was told the pink chicken was up to temp Will never go back!!!!

Been here twice within the month...food and service was great both times. It's worth the 40-minute drive every time!

Shrimp tacos are to die forDietary restrictions: I am allergic to eggs and they insured I was ok and enjoying my meal.

We went the last weekend of January to see their Christmas decorations and they did not disappoint. The decor was beautiful and the music was great too. Our server was very attentive and friendly. She did a good job taking care of our table. I am really turned by restaurants that serve a la carte style food. Two people in our party got fish tacos. It came with 2 tacos and nothing else. This is not enough to leave full and satisfied. Meals that are priced $20-30 should come with sides.

Christmas decor was beautiful.Service was excellent.Food tasted great, but portions were too small. I don’t like restaurants that charge $25-30 a plate but don’t give any sides. 2 tacos with no sides is not filling. Seafood risotto should have at least a side salad. Tacos should have rice and/or vegetables as a side.

The Caesar Salad was the best I ever had! The dressing was so delicious and the added cheese crisp on the side was extra delicious! Generous amount of shaved parmigiana on top w crispy croutons!! Enough for 2 people to enjoy! For $11.99 it was a great deal. Also we split the Indian favored soup w lentils, apples and chicken and it was amazing! We make our own curry dishes often and this was up there w the best. The flavors melded deliciously! My only complaint is that we sat in the outdoor tented bar area and the heat was blasting. It was too hot but they did ask if we wanted to move as spaces became available at the indoor bar but we already had our food at that point. We will be back and make a reservation for inside.

Excellent hole in the wall type of place. Went for dinner and drinks on a weekend. Not too busy, great service, good beer and drink selection. Would love to sit outside next time when it’s warmer!

Service and decor was great for the holidays. My wife loved her salmon. I ordered an Alfredo dish but it was a little too rich for me. It was good but just the wrong thing for me to order. Not the fault of the restaurant. I should have ordered something different for my taste. We will definitely be back though.
