“I usually don’t write reviews unless something unusual happens, today it did. My daughter and I needed to get a cashier’s check for her first car and went to this branch. Brad the banking teller helped us with the cashier’s check. Brad was very professional, patient and helpful. During the time we were there, another customer had come in and for unknown reasons ( maybe the heatwave) became upset. This situation was handled with professionalism by the Terryville branch also. Thanks for all you do!”

They compared my house to a house 1600sq smaller with no basement. AE ‘s appraisal came in over $200k more than crooked Webster. “Very few times have I been swept off my feet by personality, however, when i went to see my banker Kenrick to close my accounts i felt as if i was speaking to someone who finally understood my situation. I am from Chicago, where there are no branches, yet my stint in Bristol lingers through Webster Bank. the accounts I closed went through without a hitch and i left assured that I can get the last of my payouts from this city. Back in Chicago I still live with the money I earned here still paying out in almost every facet of my now married life. The charm of Mr. Deonarine and the pen he lent me still writes the notes I write to myself—showing that even as a door closes our new path is shaped by the roads travelled. Along with the complementary green lollipop, and his relatable stories of NYC, I still keep the carbon copy of my last memories of Bristol and Webster as a memento of something that is still dear to my heart.”

“First - to all of the negative reviewers about this branch, I have a few things to say. WITHOUT an account, the answer is NO to all of the ridiculous attempted services without a fee. You cannot simply cash check without a fee, NO you can’t exchange coins for cash and NO, you can’t use a foreign ATM without a fee! This is true at ALL banks. I love how people without accounts, or have an account with probably less than $100 (insert eye-roll here) have the overwhelming need to leave negative reviews for a local business! It’s just crazy to me! GO TO YOUR OWN BANK and you’ll be able to get these services done without an issue...or have you already tried, and it doesn’t work there either? UNBELIEVABLE!
Now, for my review. I have been banking at TD Bank for years, both in the United States and I also hold accounts in another country as well. The staff here is incredible. Always very courteous and helpful, always ready to offer guidance or reverse a fee if I’ve made a mistake etc. I get that during this COVID pandemic the wait times have been a little longer, as is true for ALL BANKS. I’ve learned that patience on my end allows for a positive experience every time for everyone. We left Plainville, CT in 2013 and moved to Chicago and subsequently, we now reside in Florida - while we do have local TD branches here that have always been very helpful, I still call this branch for some of my more in-depth banking needs and conduct business out of this branch whenever I am in town. Both the Manager and the Assistant Manager have always been willing to assist me with all of my transactions without any issues. Thank you to both Fabienne and Matt, both of whom have been the leaders in this branch for a little over a year. Your service continues to be outstanding and your staff is always pleasant. Thank you for your great leadership and always providing outstanding service.
It’s disheartening to only see 2-stars next to this TD branch location - but when you take the time to read the details behind the poor score, you can see that it isn’t a true reflection of the branch or its’ staff. It has to do with the ridiculous transaction requests from non-account holders whose expectations, it seems to me, to belong to a class of people who believe they are “entitled”. Frankly, this country has a growing problem with people who feel entitled.
To the “entitled” nay-sayers, move on.
To those wanting a great customer experience and are looking for a local business to support, I would encourage you to open an account here and get to know the staff, you won’t be disappointed!”
