“I had breakfast this morning at The Cafe in Brookfield with several friends. My first time there, and it definitely won't be my last. The food, atmosphere, and furnishings were just wonderful. It was The Perfect Place to sit and relax with friends while enjoying a delicious breakfast. The staff were all very pleasant and courteous. I think we will be making this a regular thing!! The Perfect spot !!”

“Food is so delicious. It is very refreshing to see a chain restaurant paying so much attention to where their food comes from. Organic, locally grown, cage free. So many GF dishes!Coming out of covid have impacted many restaurants with finding enough staff so it is understandable if the service feels a bit stretched thin.Inflation has also affected this restaurant as well as others and it is a bit pricey for a family of 4. That being said, it is all worthed!!! Highly recommend it!!!!”

“Everything here was delicious. The service was fast, the place was the cleanliest restaurant i've been in, and the staff was nice accommodating. I loved how fresh and soft the bread was - the freshest and best rolls i've had in my entire life. The espresso here are unmatchable compared to any other i've had. I will without a doubt be back here for my Portuguese food fix.”

“I’ve been goi g to Tarrywhile for years. If you like to hike there are plenty of trails. If you want to just go and read a book there is a beautiful mansion with a garden and gazebo and wide open fields. I love hiking around the pond. ”

“What a pleasant surprise! We were looking for a Christmas tree this weekend and we stumbled upon this place on the way. It’s a family owned business that treats you like you’re a long lost relative! My family and I loved the experience, the tree and wreath we bought were inexpensive, and the staff was so friendly. Such a great experience! We plan on coming back for other events past the Christmas season. Thanks so much Dianne for making us feel so welcome!”

“I recently had the pleasure of trying some of their spirits at a party and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff who were more than happy to talk us through their different alcohols. Overall, I was really impressed with the quality and variety of their spirits. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for something a little bit special for their next party or gathering.”

“Nice rooms, we had a balcony, one of the higher priced hotels in the area yet only one without free breakfast. They do have a 'restaurant' with limited fairly expensive options. Fire alarms went off around 11pm, no rooms were contacted or announcements made with instructions or what the issue was.”

“Excellent choice for Newtown dining. We loved their creative riffs on traditional dishes, like using ramen dough to wrap sushi, putting short rib filling in empanadas, or asprinkle of frito chips on deviled eggs. Would love to return and continue to explore the possibilities.”

“I was Senior Vice Commander and my friend was Junior Vice Commander. The year was 1985. Joseph Riccio was the Post Commander. He was "our guy". We ran all the post activities and events back then. We laughed, ate, and drank. Then one day they held a coup. Gulya, and a few of his henchmen wanted Riccio OUT!, so they stuffed the ballot box. At the election meeting, both myself and my buddy, the junior vice, resigned at the underhanded way they did this to a fine long time commander. I guess everything must change eventually, but this was just sleazy. The post today is fine for a few drinks or brews and I can still recommend it, but for me "the thrill is gone".”
