Spent an hour looking over their $400 cash bonus offer. Read all 6 footnotes and nowhere does it mention that you have to maintain a $7500 minimum balance that pays 0.01 percent interest. What a scam. Two neighbors told me about unhappy experiences at M&T. Now I understand.

I opened a business account here and was told that I either have to apply for a credit card from m&t Bank or have to apply for a loan. I explained I haven't worked in a couple years due to an injury but my credit score is still good.After opening the business account I called the bank several times trying to get in touch with the girl who opened the account with me, I left several messages for her trying to find out what was going on with my credit card application, after about a month and a half she answered the phone when I called and couldn't avoid me anymore, she said my credit card had been denied would I like to apply for a loan ?Since then I found out that this practice is not legal they cannot make you apply for a loan or a credit card just because you have a business account.... Moved my business account elsewhere and plan on moving my personal account as soon as it's convenient....

Had my first account here. Wouldn't waive a small fee when I was a teenager. Haven't put a dime in this garbage receptical they call a "bank" since, won't ever again. Trash bank. Trash employees.

Always something with this place. This time the inside is conveniently closed in the middle of a Monday so my entire lunch break has been spent in this slow and long line through the drive thru. I’m just gonna go to the local supermarket people’s bank going forward where I never face hurdles

The ATM line for auto is setup incorrectly; it’s behind the atm teller and you end up waiting forever! Very poor design.

Staff could answer little to no questions about my situation. Once we left, they promised a call back, never called back. Very unprofessional throughout everything. I strongly recommend the Chase bank down the street.

Convenient location, drive thru with drive-thru at, polite tellers, however beyond all of those perks, they flat out were not willing to help with a request I made regarding my account.
