225 CT-37, New Fairfield“Nicely maintained trails through hundreds of acres of preserved space - forest, meadows, hills, streams, etc. Recommend taking a hike to the waterfalls as a good destination. Twice I’ve gone on naturalist-led hikes here, which are fun and informative. Also great for kids who are physically old enough to hike. There were 4 kids on the last hike I did here, and all seemed to have a great time. Make sure to check the website and FB for activities at Great Hollow.”
“Great people who take awesome care of their cats! We adopted our sweet boy from here and it was very clear that they loved him and the other cats at the shelter. They were also very excited to show us all the cats they had when we visited them. Their adoption process was also very smooth and quick, and they also did call the references, which is a great thing to do. Hopefully we will adopt another cat from them sometime in the future!”
“The food was good as always the hall was clean and the atmosphere good. Bar staff was great and had upscale scotch. Dinner was a bit unorganized, but all in all, it was a great place.”
“I have been involved with this non-profit for several years. Their only purpose is to provide funds to support community programs at the Danbury Library. I love it!”
“This nature preserve & and day camp is one of the hidden gems of New Milford. Professional leadership and loving counselors. The woods are quiet, with meandering trails, lots of riverfront for kids to splash in. And some easy to love friendly farm animals. Best nature experience you could give you child. Highly recommended!”

“I stopped in here before visiting my sister in New Milford. I've gone to the previous location ( which, I have to admit, I liked it because it reminded me of the old stores ?)But this store is bright and clean, prices are clearly marked ( I didn't have to search through the item to find the price)The workers I encountered were friendly and cheerful.Oh, and the parking was much better than the previous location, too.”
“Great place for thrift shopping of furniture, home decor and home improvement stuff. Hit or miss, as any thrift store is, but good deals. I've bought new window screens for $4 each, gallons of recycled paint to repaint my entire house for hundreds less than what I would've spent at hardware stores, a new chair for my dining room table to replace one I had that was broken, carpets at decent prices, and much more. Everyone I've dealt with has been friendly and helpful in the store whenever I've visited.”
“Love this store just as much as the new milford store always clean well stocked great book selections very neatly placed the staff is super friendly great environment an atmosphere.... maybe danbury and new milford can get together and help out the Brookfield store that store is just plain dirty staff isn't friendly not a great atmosphere....”
“I worked at Ability for several years, hired in its Datahr days. My position was in career development. The consumers, my fellow employment specialists, the management, and the companies we served made it a great career and life experience. God bless them all!”
“Lots of good stuff, but nothing really appealed to me.At the moment, they seem to have an inordinate amount of pig decor and I've also never seen a Goodwill with as many pet crates as they have.”
