We have been buying both a quarter cow and a half pig from Sunset Valley Farms, for 3 years now. After our first purchase, there was no going back to eating meat from the grocery store. The taste and quality of meat is always consistent and top notch. I highly recommend them as I have to all of my family and friends.

A week ago I picked up a bulk order of beef from Sunset Valley farms. In the past week I made tacos and meatloaf with ground beef, and tonight I finally tried some steaks. I only lightly seasoned it and it was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Up next I need to try one of my roasts. Will definitely be a returning customer!

This local farm was so great to work with in every way. They were responsive with all my questions, it was easy to coordinate pickup (plus they came boxed), they are affordable for such high quality beef, and its delicious. I love knowing the cows were grass fed and grass finished, and treated well. Highly recommend!

We’ve been getting beef here for a few years. At the grocery store, I usually have to buy organic beef because a member of my family can’t digest regular beef, but getting beef from these nice folks gives us no problems. It’s delicious and you can tell that they take care of and raise the cows well. We’re definitely continuing to get beef here. We might try the pork too.

Just picked up our beef today, and we are eating some rib eye steaks right now. Incredibly tender. No chewiness, absolutely melt in your mouth. Also as a person who spent a lot of time studying grazing beef and dairy, I was happy to see that the farm’s pastures were not heavily overgrazed. You know how you drive by some farmland, and you just see cows hanging out in a field that shows a lot of dirt. Well it isn’t case here.... their pastures are the main source of food for the cattle from spring through late fall. Not just a bunch of people who throw the cows in one paddock the entire time and call it grazing.....!! Sunset Valley Farms is on top of quality beef. This is the best beef I have had in a long time, and I am very picky...!

We got a share of beef last year and could not be happier! We are getting another share this year. Not only is it quality beef and great tasting, the price is phenomenal compared to what you would pay for a similar products at any grocery store.

Jan and Steve are the nicest people, their farm is beautiful but most important the beef and pork I have purchased from them is above and beyond other farms I have bought from in flavor and tenderness. Highly recommend

Amazing. After looking around for local quality beef for quite sometime, I found Sunset Valley Farms this past winter. Living in the area really helped seeing the land the cows are raised in and it shows in leaps and bounds in the quality of beef. Picked up my beef for the first time, and cooked up a porterhouse the same night. Tender. Juicy. Fat caramelized easy in the pan. Deep rich flavor throughout. If local quality and healthy raised beef is what you're looking for, send them a message and get on the list. Well worth the wait and im glad I took the plunge.

Excellent beef!! Thanks so much for the beef. My wife and I purchased a 1/4 cow from Sunset Valley today. We are blow away with the quality of the meat. Everything comes individually packaged and labeled. We will definitely be purchasing from them again. Thanks Steve and Jan.UPDATE: We purchased half a pig from Steve and Jan as well. Janis and Steve, and of course Maggie, at Sunset Valley Farms are beyond wonderful!! When we contacted the farm to buy beef for our small business months ago we knew we made the right choice by how much they care. The cows are all grass fed and all the meat comes vacuum sealed with labels. Even with these hard times we need to help each other and I couldn't think of a better way than supporting local farms. I will absolutely buy from them again and encourage anyone else who can to do so!

I LOVE purchasing my beef from this family farm. If I had enough room in my freezer, I would purchase pork as well! They are most accommodating and friendly, which is frosting on the cake because the meat I've gotten is fantastic. It tastes like the childhood meat we used to have. I've ordered two times and both times I've ordered a 1/4 cow. That lasts my family of two about a year. The variety is wonderful. Everything is labeled, flash frozen and boxed, ready to go. In my opinion, you can't beat the price. When you go on their grounds, you will love what you see. It's beautiful grazing land. I highly recommend Sunset Valley Farms.
