People are nice but the banking rules are ridiculous. I went to deposit a business check for a client that uses Santander and they wouldn’t let me deposit it without having an account with them. I have identification, but no account with them so they would not accept the deposit and the check was written from a business to the client. It seems like they’re only goal is to try to get you to open an account rather than to conduct business.

No, do not become a customer here. The tellers let people cut in front of you and iqnore you, and treat you so poorly. I had nothing but attitude when I asked if I could cash a check they said no "because I am not an account holder" ! Then was told I had to wait for the one person in the entire bank to open an account which already had a couple ahead of me. It's sad how customers are treated now. My daughter and I had just left. Even the manager that was doing the new accounts with the couple in front of us had to wave his hand around yelling across the bank to say these are the last two after them I'm not taking any more people! Wow; loose business then.... I was made to feel like I was the problem. We are going to TD or Bristol credit union to hopefully get better service and respect there.

I had this bank from 3 years now. Recently, they introduced zelle in the app, i was trying to register for zelle, it didnt allow me to enroll, so i called up customer support and asked for a solution. the solution was to step in the branch, give them your social security number, but as a matter of fact when is step in, it seems to enroll in zelle, you need a green card. I closed my account period

Literally the WORST bank I’ve ever dealt with. Do NOT get a loan with them!!! You call to make future payments and they tell you it’s all set but instead put it in as a “promise to pay” so you think it’s all set but really you have to call back AGAIN to actually say “okay put it through”. You speak with them one day and they tell you “you’re caught up until February, you just owe March” and then talk to them again a few days later and they tell you you the last payment was for January not February. Not sure what kind of “notes” they put in for each call but none ever actually describe the conver that was actually had with the representative... Their employees could care less. Absolutely horrible.

I have had Santander for a few years now. The employees are extremely helpful and friendly. Any issues I've ever had, which was one, they took care of immediately.

I didn't want to give any starts but would no accept my review until I checked one. I signed up in September because of a special they offered for a new account. Now there is a block on my account because of their error. I'm already soured by this and will be closing my account.

They should take responsibility for the foreclosure properties in Bristol, Ct. and make sure they are good neighbors by taking care of the properties by mowing and maintaining the appearance of the foreclosure. That's what good neighbors do and not allow the grass to grow over three feet and affect the homes on that street....45 Royal Drive, Bristol, Ct. Time to act.
