Thank you imagination for being apart of the ct free this year so that many kids in ct can have the opportunity to explore this hidden gem. Brought the kids here and they enjoyed themselves. A huge shout out to Karen who works at the museum. You can tell she really enjoys her job and showed my children and I how to use a lot of the cool extras the museum had to offer at different stations. She made the experience that much better for all of us and was extremely sweet and helpful this was important because this was our first time visiting and we did not know much about this place. She is one of the reasons I gave this museum 5 stars. On the other hand there was another worker there with short black hair that was watching us like a hawk and picked on my kids whenever I was busy with the little one. She made them so uncomfortable they soon gave her her own name in which I don’t know her real name but my kids will consider her as the “museum police” every time she came their way. She embarrassed them and humiliated them a couple of times of front of people and I find that extremely unprofessional as they were just sitting or walking around quietly exploring the museum for their first time. I think she was not used to seeing Hispanics in the building as the non Hispanics clearly did not seem to endure this type of harassment as she chatted with them politely. I will be making a phone call to her superior and explain to them more in detail about my experience in particular with this employee.

I started bringing my daughter here when she was two, and brought her almost every other week until she was six. She is now an honors student who just finished her freshman year in college. During those formative years Imagine Nation was an integral part of her development...it is literally three levels of educational/fun learning experiences for kids, especially preschool to kindergarten! I don't know what it's like now, but that place was a staple in our lives during those years.

Doesn't honor gift certificates from before the pandemic. Connecticut has a law that they don't expire but I guess this place is above the law.

this place is not open to the public. it is only open for parties or daycare. I went there with my grandson and there are notes on all the doors that they are no longer open to the public.

I remember when this venue was open on the weekends. I don't know if their business model changed from a Museum to a school but it's highly odd that a museum is closed on weekends. How unfortunate that people can't take their kids here unless it's the summer or they miss school. Strange business model to grow a business.

A lot for kids to do with interactive rooms -- not like some other children museums that have just puzzles in a room

Always a great place for the kids to run around with so many interactive stations. You could easily spend two hours here where the learning is fun. The annual pass is a great value, and the cafe has some nice treats and ice cream.

This is the best preschool, by far, in the area. There is video surveillance in every classroom, softscaping outside (so your litttle one doesn't come home injured every day), head teachers have bachelor's degrees, AND it's a part of an amazing Museum. (These are all things lacking at other places) We have been there for 2 years and LOVE our teachers- it was an upgrade from Kindercare, and for lower tuition. The only downside is that there are VERY limited spots for babies.

My daughter attended preschool at Imagine Nation for 2 years. We could not have been more pleased with the educational experience she received while she was there. Her time spent with the caring staff there has truly jump-started her educational career and built her a solid foundation for lifelong learning. It was not just your basic ABC's and 123's education, she also learned important social skills, kindness, about different cultures, daily routines, and personal hygiene. My only regret is not starting her there at a younger age for daycare!

Went today for the first time and was impressed. So many things for the kids to do ages 2 to 8. Also many staff were available and do friendly. Impressed that they kept the place so clean, and noticed them sanitizing all of the toys the children play with. Nice open space, and you can literally send hours here (we spent 4!) We will definitely be back.

This place is nice, pretty clean, the exhibits are in good shape, and there are interesting activities. However, Kidcity in Middletown has the same admission price but they are much bigger and they offer more entertainment for the same price.
