i always lose my gas point because i forget about them until they expire. so i had 60 cents i could use. i went to their gas station and gave me the girl my stop and shop car and 30 dollars in cash. while i was pumping i am looking at the gas pump and usually when you have a discount of that amount the display moves slower. this did notso i asked the girl how much i paid per gallon and she said the full price you did not get a discount. to say i was aggravated would be putting it mildly. so i called number and talked to someone and she walk me through on how to get the points in the future. i guess the girl working at the station never scanned my card. so the customer service lady added thirty days to my points so i would not lose them and she also added the points i had lost the previous month. so when i do go i should have about 1.00 off a gallon. very happy with customer service.

I'm done shopping at this store in Bristol. dreadful experience! I stood on line for 30 minutes to get corrections for two items that I was mischarged for. after being told that the asparagus was not $1.99/lb and the butternut squash was only for the stop and shop brand I went back to check the signs. the sign for the asparagus was being pulled down right as I got there and the sign for the squash did not specify a brand. then I called to speak to the store manager. I was bounced around with at least five people picking up but not a manager amongst any of them. Terrible treatment of customers and probably against the consumer laws here in CT too.

My elderly neighbors have complained numerous times to the store manager about vendors stocking the shelves early in the morning when it is opened for seniors and not wearing masks. Apparently they do NOT listen because they are not wearing the masks. A few of them wear them below their chins. Seniors are extremely prone to contract the virus. They will now be shopping at ShopRite and Price Choppers.

I have never had such an issue with a grocery establishment such as this Stop & Shop on Farmington Ave in Bristol, CT. They have a large amount of staff and management that could care less about providing the best customer service experience. They provide goods that are rotten/rotting and past due food service items. I will not be surprised if someone gets food poisoning soon enough from their prepared foods counter. I will not ever recommend this Stop & Shop to any person due to such poor quality items and staff.
