For the second time in a couple weeks the oranges I bought were black on the inside. I stopped shopping here full time a few years ago when I found they were selling expired yogurt.

Nice grocery store

I'm going to be honest, this is my go to grocery store. But unfortunately it's not because it's anything spectacular, it's purely due to convenience and how close it is to where I live. I've been going to this grocery store for about tenish years now and I've seen it all. Fights between employees and customers ALL the time, fights between employees and management/ other employess, lines that go all the way through the aisles because they've been so poorly staffed, mold on my bread literally seconds before I was about to checkout and buy it.... (All examples within the last six months) But push that all aside it's in a prime location for some(including me), they have some pretty great deals occasionally, they do have good unexpired food (just be careful, pay good attention), and I also happen to be a big fan of the price chopper points I earn having their store card that I can use for money off gas, my grocery bill, even free cookware through the store sometimes lol.

The only butcher that cuts exactly what I want is a gentleman who is 6'4 to 6'5. No questions or comment, he just cuts what I order. I always have to make sure he is working, otherwise always a song and dance with the others!Bakery is excellent! Great service and products.

Do a lot of my grocery shopping here. It's not the cleanest store in the area, but it gets the job done. Least their prices are better than Stop n' Shop.

NOT COVID SAFE. I really like some of their food and *have* had great experiences at this grocery, but it's gone downhill to the point that it's not worth the risks (or the anxiety). I usually have to walk through a cloud from people smoking right outside the doors. Fellow shoppers are commonly unmasked and/or don't respect physical distancing. The fact that these simple safety guidelines haven't bothered to be enforced over the last few months gives me no confidence in any other safety/cleaning protocols they may or may not actually be doing. Bottom line: I don't feel safe there and I won't be back if I can avoid it at least until something changes.

It's a good thing to have, but the thing about coin stars are, they take nine cents off every dollar that you change.
