I have to say how happy I am with Chippens Hill’s treatment of my dog Snoop! Long story short we bought him in for a sick appointment and had a plan but he needed more care and they were extremely understanding, accommodating, efficient, and kind! I couldn’t have asked for the situation to be handled any better. Thank you!!!!

Dr. Elliot was extremely rude during our first visit. I will never be returning, point blank, period. The receptionist were extremely nice. Wish I could rate them separately.

I have brought pets to Chippens Hill for over 30 years. The staff is kind and knowledgeable. I see Dr. Elliot frequently and she is outstanding. She is smart, kind and patient. I travel almost 30 minutes to get there and past other veterinarian hospitals along the way. I would never consider going somewhere else.

Been going to Chippens Hill Veterinary Hospital since 1979. I wouldn't go any where else with my pets. Vets are great and so are all the employees.

I walked into the clinic to discuss accupuncture and the receptionists were both kind. I made my new pets appointment but later that day I was contacted and told that there would be a $60 records review charge to look at his one Xray image I had from his prior surgery. I had never heard of this in my history of previously working in the veterinary field or recently. I was told this has to be paid prior to attending the appointment. The next day I received another message that I was forfeiting my appt if I did not pay it despite me confirming I would be there. When I was done seeing my patients at my own job, I called and paid the charge. They said this helps ensure I dont no show. After paying, I was not sent or notified of any link to send his image to. I thought this odd and at this point had reservations as it seemed more about money and less about reviewing records. Nonetheless, I was going to try. The morning of the appt, I contacted the number on the website and messaged that my card was charged but nobody inquired about his Xray record. I received a message back that my appt would be moved to the next week she was feeling under the weather. Now everyone is entitled to not feel well but I had rescheduled my clients to be able to make it to this appointment AND gave my dog sedative to have him calm for the appointment. There was no apology for the inconvenience or mention of why they billed me $65 and didnt give me contact info to sent the records that they so badly needed to charge to review. I went in the morning for my refund and was asked if I intended to reschedule as "you would have to pay this again if you decide to make an appointment" I said absolutely not and inquired about who owns the clinic. NOT to my surprise, I was told it was corporately owned which spoke volumes about the impression given. When you put a message on your outgoing vm that people should be kind because its a hard industry, you may want to consider how you make others feel too. Veterinary prices have skyrocketed and Veterinarians chose to sell out to corporations.
