Very pleased from the moment I made the appointment. They were able to see our new puppy for a wellness check with less than a weeks wait. The entire staff was welcoming and thorough.

We’ve been using Chippens Hill Veterinary Hospital off and on for 30+ years. Though the staff has changed, they are still a very caring facility that will put you at ease no matter what you are bringing your pet in for. Everything is explained in terms that you can understand. The follow up communication is top notch, which again makes me comfortable with their caring attitude. I would recommend Chippens Hill Veterinary Hospital to whoever needs care for their pet.

They are nice when you can see them. Unfortunately that's easier said than done. They either won't let you in due to the pandemic (understandable in 2020) or they are closed due to a light snow storm, the wind blowing the wrong way, it's too sunny, etc..... Pretty unprofessional in my opinion.

I have always had wonderful experiences at Chippens Hil. The doctors are wonderful and caring. The vet techs are amazing. I adore all of the staff! I feel comfortable calling them if I have questions or concerns about my pets' health, and they are prompt about getting back to me. I have nothing but good things to say about them.

My wife has been a customer for well over 10 years with our various dogs. Yesterday our 21 year old cat was in her last hours of life, vomiting and crying, and my wife called to have her put to sleep to put the poor animal out of its torment. Chippens hills answer was they would not take a new animal they had never seen before regardless of our 10 plus years snd thousands of dollars spent there with the rest of our pets. So my wife held the poor cat in her arms vomiting and crying till she passed. Thank you chippens hill veterinary for your complete lack of compassion. We will never forget those horrible images and sounds nor will we ever forget your money first total lack of compassion. Nor will we ever return. Good luck with your buisness standards.

My cat was sick and uncomfortable....constant sneezing and not eating much. I called to make him an appointment right away. Thank you to all the staff and Dr. Elliot for changing around their schedules to fit him in before the holiday weekend! They even called me the day after to see if he is feeling better.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My dogs are established at this vet and wellness visits (vaccines, etc.) are usually fine although the staff is somewhat rude and dismissive of my concerns and questions. However, on the occasions that one of my dogs has been sick or injured, this "animal hospital" refuses to even evaluate my pet during regular business hours. They are rude and insensitive and they don't actually care about my pets. I started bringing my dogs to chippens hill after moving here from out of state and have been shocked by the lack of care and compassion and the blatant disregard for the health of my pets demonstrated by both the vet and the staff. I have had animals all my life and never have I had a vet refuse to see a sick or injured animal. Please do not take your pets here. I am changing vets immediately after my most recent experience and will happily drive 30 minutes for quality care for my pets.

We had our very first visit with Dr. Emily today. The staff is friendly and efficient and super wonderful with my little girl, Lily. The vet was patient and understanding and listened to my concerns. We left feeling very happy and well taken care of at Chippens Hill. Thank you from the Roy Family. The photo is of Miss Lily and the late and beloved Scruffy Doodles.

Very disappointed. After carefully researching places for our cats after a move, we chose this hospital. Very nice techs, and Doctors, but the front office is not very good, that is why the two stars. I tried to get an appointment for a cat with a leg injury, and although it wasn't a crises, She was in pain, and I had to take her to an emergency care, because the soonest appointment was 1.5 weeks out. The reason I chose this place was because they have 4 veterinarians.Hard to believe I couldn't get an appointment sooner. The worst part was I had to ask 3 times for the bloodwork that was done there, and then they wanted to do"followup" bloodwork in three months, even thought there was nothing at all wrong with the cat or the blood work, so no reason to do this except to take money. But, again could not help me with the leg, which was important. very unpleasant person that answers the phone. YES, everyone is aware there is a pandemic, no need to be told this! On the other side of the coin, folks will remember who was helpful. not the place for me.

I understand that we are in COVID times, but 5-8 weeks for an initial appointment is absurd! If you have recently adopted a pet and have the expectation that you will get that pet looked at by this vet within 2 weeks of adoption is not feasible. No attempt by the receptionist to check for a cancellation or anything like that, just disengaged from the conversation and told me she could give me the number to a local animal emergency room. Seems like this will be the case moving forward with this establishment, I'd rather spend my $$$ somewhere that they value the people behind the pets. I was willing to pay extra (as per the reviews on Yelp) for a more quality service but it seems as though this vet is flush with cash and can't be bothered with your average joe.
