I found the jumper of my dreams, I am so happy!! :) I discovered them rather by accident and wasn't expecting to be this positively surprised. Virginia and Eva are such lovely people, I find their hands on attitude regarding opening a cool thrift shop & community space very inspiring. Also love their social media game. All the best!!

Run, don't walk, to this amazing little thrift store! The staff is friendly, the prices are reasonable, and I have found some absolute treasures here! Don't miss out on their monthly fill-a-bag sale for only $13 :)

I was visiting the town with my friend and I fall in love in that store! A lot of nice unique pieces, friendly staff, amazing atmosphere. Several small businesses also sell over there, which is great! I got few things from here and can’t be happier!

This review is for WBT online store. Bust 45in Waist 39in/40in Hips 50in.I followed the measurement video & chart with my measurements and purchased 4 items that were listed XL- 0X (ORDER #7988). The (0X Dark blue long sleeve button down top w/ tab button cuffs, & chest pocket - 0X $23.00) did not fit my chest measurements (too small). But it did fit into their XL category. The (XL Emerald green high neck sweater w/ quilted style bust, kangaroo pocket, zipper, & ribbed hems - XL $24.00) I bought also did not fit however its measurements put it in their L category not XL. I bought a (0X White & multicolor floral embroidery button-up collared top - 0X $24.00) and it is GINORMOUS on me. Turns out the bust size puts it at a 4X on their size chart. And finally the (0X White & black Andy Worhol graphic long sleeve pullover sweater w/ drawstring hood - 0X $45.00) This one I was the most disappointed about. This sweatshirt was the whole reason I decided to purchase from WBT, the horse on the front looks like my old mare. It is EXTREMELY small, I could barely get it over my head to get on and I could not put my arms down. The tag reads small and I believe it. The bust size come to 43in which does put it in their XL/0X category but there is no possible way this sweatshirt is XL/0X. The idea of a universal sizing chart is fantastic but unfortunately through this experience I find that their chart is not so. I am happy that their online shop has closed as the sizing is not trustworthy.Customer Service - one starI saw online that WBT has a returns policy. "All sales are final. We encourage that you thoroughly check all information provided for each product, especially measurements. Please refer to our size chart above to understand how our sizes are sorted. Mystery Bundles..." It is extremely frustrating to do everything right (look at the size video, look at the size chart, look at the measurements listed) and end up spending about $130 and have nothing fit. I have emailed them twice since December and have gotten no response. Not even a "we are sorry this happened, we will work to do better, unfortunately all sales are still final" Just ghosted. I reached out on Instagram - ghosted. It is worse to be ignored than to be told, "Sorry there is nothing we can do."Conclusion,I love the brand values and what they are striving to achieve with their witchy, LGBTQIA+, plus size inclusivity. I believe that the people running this company are wonderful. I wanted to send my old clothes in to be priced and be able to get credit to buy more to support them either in person one day or online. However, after this experience and with the online shop closing I cannot justify that and will be selling my clothes on Depop and going back to square one of trying to find stylish clothing second hand.

The fact that they carry such a selection of plus size clothes is my FAVORITE. As a plus size gal, it's so hard to find cute clothes secondhand, but wbt prioritizes that and I am forever grateful. I found the perfect summer dress there this week and I cant wait for the weather to come.

Maybe the actual store is better but idk, it’s a bit insulting to put maternity clothes in a not maternity grab bag. Thanks for the overpriced target clothes I guess.

Do not order from these people. Made a $90 order from them for a mystery box on May 30, 2021, over 2 years ago and they keep ducking our emails and have never sent us anything. Our order still just says “will receive an email when your order updates”

Extremely nice and helpful staff. They have a good selection of vintage and stylish secondhand items. Size inclusive as well. The website and store each have their own stock. I saw an item on the website I loved and they were able to grab it from the stockroom for me to try on and buy in person. Highly recommend checking them out!

In April I dropped off three very large reusable totes with clothing, accessories, and shoes to be thrifted. I have tried to email and message the shop several times for a payout status to which I was greeted with an automated “this just means our staff is still working on your batch.” Many of the items I gave were sold and made the shop a pretty decent profit. I truly want to support a plus size and all around inclusive business in my community, however ignoring your patrons while posting incessantly multiple times a day on social media is poor practice. It is now several months later and no payout update. I understand there are waves of sales, change, and just life; I have previous retail experience. Please be more considerate of those giving you thrifted items as I see in the comments I’m not the first person this has happened to.

Super disappointed. I’ve been following WBT for years now, and have “sold” them my clothes before without issue. This time (September 8th) I dropped off a very large amount of plus size items and didn’t hear about my payout until October 6th. That’s fine, I expected it to take several weeks (though they were advertising clothes I dropped off on their social media prior to the payout email). It’s pushing 4 weeks since they emailed me my payout total, and since then they’ve ghosted me. I’ve not received my payout for an drop off that made them over $1k in sales (according to the 10% payout policy) and none of my attempts to reach out to them have been acknowledged/answered, regardless of their constant activity online. I really want to support inclusive businesses in my area, but this feels really disingenuous. Hopefully it’s a fixable issue.

An absolutely perfect blend of thrift shopping, inclusive community events, and the coolest overall vibe in the state. I don't get down to New Haven all that often, but when I do this will certainly be an essential destination going forward.

By far my favorite thrift in Connecticut! I love the vibes, and the staff, and their size inclusiveness. It’s amazing to go somewhere and actually find things I like. Bravo! I’ll be supporting often.
