The staff at the Stop & Shop Pharmacy on North Main Street in Bridgeport, CT, are simply amazing! Every visit is filled with a happy atmosphere where the team genuinely cares about their customers. They always greet me with smiles and make me feel welcome. It’s wonderful to see how well they get along with each other and their customers. Diane once filled out my entire application because I left my glasses at home, and she did it with such a glad heart. The pharmacist’s reassuring demeanor made me feel at ease during my visit as well. Their acts of kindness are so appreciated. Though I can't recall all their names, I am grateful for each one of them. My experiences have always been wonderful, thanks to this exceptional team.

Called to make enquirers about Western Union. Person on the phone was very knowledgeable and friendly. I went in and she recognized me, she actually said “ you called earlier”, I remember you !Was even nicer in person. I felt valued !

Today I went to go to get chocolate milk. When I was drinking the milk it was chunky and I found out that it was expired. The milk was horizon organic chocolate milk. So when you go to this stop and shop don't get the horizon organic chocolate milk.

Yuck - it is so dark and depressing inside. For that alone I would want to give it very little stars. The star rating is raised due to the friendly, amenable and helpful staff. And then gets raised even higher for offering a nice selection of organic berries. What delighted me the most, however, was finding two whole aisles of foods I normally buy at Whole Foods (which is now on my sour puss list due to the Amazon takeover and Big Brother tracking implemented) being available at this specific location. Super cool boutique brands like the paleo keto muffins I like - Mike's - a good selection of non dairy frozen ice cream, and other natural goodies (as opposed to the hundred million aisles of non-natural GMO food the masses eat, right?) Stop & Shop - you were slow to get on the natural and health food wave but at least you are doing it now, so kudos there. This location had a robot type thing that alerts the store to spills. One of the employees said to me he didn't understand why they'd have a robot do it and not a person. I was silently thinking because a person would be texting and more concerned with likes on Facebook or Tinder than doing their physical job, so I don't necessarily have a problem with the robot until people start behaving properly.

Every single time I shop here, my bill is wrong. The cashiers add items to your bill that you didnt buy, or scan the same item more than once, especially when you are buying a lot. They make small talk to distract you while adding a bunch of crap to your receipt. When i call customer service, no apologies, just 'bring your receipt in and we'll correct it". It took four times for this to happen for me to know its NOT a coincidence. Damn shame!!

DISGUSTING! Do Not Shop At This Location. I purchased crab legs on June 16 and they tasted and smelled like perfume. The week before I purchased items from the Deli and noticed the lady slicing the meat was wearing several bracelets with dangling charms that was sliding across the meat she was serving. ZERO STARS FOR CLEANLINESS. The employees are polite but I would not suggest purchasing meat, seafood or deli items until they change their hygiene habits. If the item is not in a can or prepackaged do not buy here.

Stop & Shop is always a great place to pick up groceries and other goods. Today we stoped to pick up flowers for a friend. The flower shop always does a good job in setting up arrangements and providing ready made arrangements. The flowers are always fresh and smell great in addition they are reasonably priced.

I avoid this Stop and Shop like the plague, but yesterday I wasn't able to make it to my usual grocery store. Several of the freezers stopped working sometime last year. The broken freezer issue was part of the reason I stopped shopping here. Anyway I bought a frozen item to find it almost halfway melted like when I last shopped here. I don't get it, it looks like the broken freezers were replaced. So are they just happy to sell half melted frozen food to people? Can people get sick from that? The place is still as gross, and loud as I remember. Your better off trying Big Y, or the Trumbull Stop and Shop.

Apparently in addition to getting rid of the self service scanners they also turned off the server for the mobile app so you can't scan groceries with your phone either. I'll definitely think twice about coming back since they decided to make it less convenient to shop here.

This is your typical stop and shop. I wish there was more hot foods being served here. This place is dependable and the staff here is friendly.

A new low in cleanliness. Deli area food cases very dirty, crusted food. Bakery area same. I used see people clean there all the time, not anymore. Floor is barely clean. Look at the edges. There were flies in the bakery bins. Gross. Standards have declined in this store. Deli staff is hit or miss, lots of turnover. Old timers are gone. Manager please wake up and take notice of your filthy store!
