1st time at this location and was greeted by Evelyn which helped me get some frozen rats for My pet snake, as I approached the register to pay I saw a Black cap Conure which was being handled by Shawn what an awsome Lil bird and gesture. It makes me consent to know that the animals aren't just behind the glass or cage but interacting with people, I mean it makes sense right, lol thanks Yall for everything and keep it up

My only issue with this store was the grooming. I have a Toy Yorkie. I took him to be groomed and when I picked him up I was told that they weren't able to sanitize his area because he wouldn't let them do it, that he didn't like it. My dog is four pounds, what do you mean that he wouldn't let you. He didn't smell like he was freshly groomed. I was charged full price. I will never ever use this branch for grooming again. The ladies in the immunization area were wonderful, caring people.

3 stars because I like Petco but the Main Street location is horrible. Waited in line to checkout and there was no cashier and when I asked the reps at grooming they didn’t give a shxt!

I get it in and out for dry food. The Wellness aisle gets moved often, which is confusing. The dry food costs less here than at my preferred pet store, where the canned food cost less.

An associate was working nearby as I was looking in the cat harness section. I needed a dog harness! She pointed me in the right direction :)
Then, after I made the selection, the cashier was able to instruct me how to use it :) I really appreciated the help from both of them :)

I had my dog’s first grooming experience here. First of all the lady who took my dog was not pleasant. Then when i took my dog back, she was shaking and was clinging to me tightly as soon as i hugged her. The cut was not proportioned and even also. At home when i brushed my dog’s hair, she looked scared and was running away from it, something that she did not mind before until she had that grooming experience with petco. My dog definitely was traumatized. I spoke about it to my colleagues and they all had the same experience, hence they never brought their dogs back there. When i brought my dog back just to buy some treats, she was scared upon entering, she wont even walk. I dont know what they did to my dog while i was away, and i guess i dont want to know because it hurts just to think about it. Just want to warn everybody. I hope you will improve your service and be kinder to the dogs. You should only employ patient and real dog-lovers.

2 Times I was there and was a huge headache. (Petco Bridgeport Main Street) The girl in the grooming department is so rude. she can't talk to customers and she treated me bad. Plus the first time she took care of my dog after that he was bald.

Had a appointment for my dogs showed up little late and was denied the appointment they said there were not going to see my dogs cause was a little late while they were just sitting there not doing nothing took a walk in before someone with a appointment hold will never go back

It was just ok, the store did not have 28lbs and 14 lbs Taste Of The Wild dog food on hand only 5lb bags which cost a lot more and so I had to purchase 2 5lb bags at a higher price even though those were “On Sale”.

What i saw today was sad two employees fight yelling ans screaming in front of customers . The manager was doing nothing one customer came to them said take it to the back thank god there is a fairfield petco someone needs to check there staff we will never go there again

My dog had an appt for today at 8 am and when I went, I was told by Jessica that and I quote “I don’t have anyone scheduled for 8 o’clock today” I responded with “I have the text message with confirmation” She then said I must have scheduled it at another location which is inaccurate since that’s the only location I’ve taken my dog in the past. She then insisted that I must have rescheduled the appt, I think I would’ve known that, since I was there today. Again, her response was, well I don’t know what to tell you, I don’t have anyone scheduled for 8 o’clock. Ok… so why can’t you take my dog, who was originally scheduled for that time. If you don’t wanna work, just say that. You hate your job, just say that! Give it to someone else who loves it. Must suck to be miserable!! Needless to say, I’m not bringing my dog back there again.
