I had a very bad experience when I went to pay the mortgage on my house. I went to customer service and asked someone who spoke Spanish and she rudely told me that there was nothing she spoke Spanish that if I wanted me to stand in line with another person

Worst bank ever!!! Workers are lazy! They never want to work! They want you to be convenient to them instead of them being convenient to us! I left my credit card at shop which is 10 minutes away, I live literally 1 minute away from m&t bank so why not just go in and ask the questions I need the teller asks me where is my card I said it’s at my shop she then proceed to tell me go get my card and I’m like I don’t like driving 10 minutes to get my card to call the number on the back when I here and you can answer my question. The works are rude and very unprofessional never want to help. They always have a attitude like you coming in there asking them for some of they money!

the most incompetent bank I've experienced. I was a customer of People's for at least r decades and never had a problem. so this is my current experience: a week before my planned vacation, I called the bank to request an increase in he amount I could withdraw. Half an hour later, and responding to all of his questions, he told me I needed to call back to 'remind' the bank of this request. So despite the stupidity of this request I did call back the day before the trip. the person said she was 'hopeful' my request would be honored but since it was a holiday weekend, she couldn't promise. so on vacation I inserted my card in the hotel atm only to be told the bank 'could not process this'. went to five other atms only to be given the same message. it is not fun being on vacation and not having ready access to my monies. over the next 4 days, and spending a total of three hours talking to different clerks, I thought it was finally straightened out. but again today I get the same "fraud alert" to make matters further infuriating, I was blamed for the problem because I had initially responded to the alert asking if it was me who withdrew the requested amount. Since I hadn't received the money, I responded with N ( it was told I should have responded with Y. Rather than accept the blame I informed the clerk that perhaps the question could be better worded, like "did you attempt to withdraw? I do hope mr M and Mr T actually read this and respond directly to me. I would like to ask them, since the bank is so friendly if not incompetent, whether they will reimburse me for the 3 hours of lost vacation time.

Mixed review. Walked in a teller was with one customer, another teller took people in front of me. When first customer was done with business, the teller left the front desk. I thought well maybe she had to use bathroom. But nope, she started doing something else. I was only one in line, and she just decided right then and there, that she was done at desk. Then another person came in from outside and set up and helped me. I was there 20mins of which 15 I was in line. Just needed a cashier check. Was quick business. Teller that helped was nice, smiled. But that wait.... this is why people choose online banking over and over.

The staff were all busy talking amongst each other and when I needed to get something done it became a issue , I was denied the service while I know it could have been done. I didn’t argue and went to the another peoples bank on Main Street. They were a lot more polite here and took me for my notary service.

This review is for the Brookside Mall / S&S location. BIG shout out to Tatyiana C. who had such patience, grace, and attention-to-detail to get my family through a lengthly process while busy with an unusually large Saturday crowd. I was in Bpt from out of town and could only be there on a weekend. Luckily for me, they have extended hours on Saturday -- and Tatyiana was available to help. Many, many thanks -- and stay safe in this crazy virus time!

This is my neighborhood bank. I've been banking with them since I was a child. They have great employees who always take care of you with a smile. Even when the line may be long it usually moves quick. As a result of being right down the road from me they tend to be my go to bank when I have to hit the ATM. Be cause they are at a busy intersection and at a strip mall it is usually very safe to go in and out of.
