We have been optimum customers for years and when they added Altice mobile we decided to give them a try. We started off with 2 lines and that first rep that helped us was awful he did not know what he was doing nor did he know how to explain the service or billing to us. We tried to leave Altice but because of his poor communication we were stuck. Optimum this is the first thing you did right since we’ve been customers…. hiring Johanna!!! She is amazing, the misinformation we previously received Johanna went over and explained to us the situation so much so that we decided to stay and added two more lines for our kids. Since then we’ve added an additional 2 lines and only see Johanna on main st. She is so professional, polite and always gives us the right information so we aren’t paying for something and surprised later!!! Everyone there is always friendly but Johanna is top tier!! And side note the female security guard is also amazing she goes above and behind her title!!! This is the first time in years I’ve experienced such courteous staff at optimum on Main st

Engaging with Optimum's customer service was impossible. Finally, I was directed to their store by the Customer Care Department, only to be told (at the store) that the representative who guided me didn't work "at" Optimum and so they couldn't do what she said. Every person I worked with seemed to be either incapable of helping me or actively working against me. After 7-hour phone call with 10 representatives, I got my problem resolved, but that should have been a 10 minutes job. It would be to Optimum's advantage to improve internal communication and coordination, ensuring their team is better informed and equipped to assist customers.

All I wanted to do was bring their equipment back because I no longer wanted their service, and before I could explain my situation, I was given a phone number to call, that would've taken over 30 minutes, just to know that the service was disconnected. The problem was that she didn't explain that part. And on my only day off, who told her I wanted to stay there that long, as if I didn't have anything else to do. All I had was internet service, and I saw my bill jump from $87 in April to $92 in May to $97 in June and then to $117 in July and the present. They really took advantage of that particular neighborhood because there's not a lot of available servicer. But I searched and found one, and I'm sticking with them. AFFORDABLE!

Well, is I know why I left this company- other than the awful customer service- when I called to cancel all services after being a customer for 13 years— not one question, or inquiry as to why I’m leaving! Best decision I’ve ever made! Good riddens!

Internet is great, TV not so much. We just got channel 8 back, and now they took it away again. I will have to look elsewhere and no doubt pay extra to get channel 8 from somewhere. I am on the shoreline. I don't care about channel 3 or 6. I need channel 8, WTNH. I hate to cancel the cable, but I feel like I have no choice.

Customer service is an absolute joke. Going around in circles just trying to figure out why my bill when I call to pay is $20 higher than the bill I received in the mail.

As soon as I walked in I was welcomed with smiling faces and a quick "How can I help you?". Mind you it was a little after 9 am. I was in and out within 5 minutes or less. Unfortunately, the brand-new cable box wasn't working when I got home so I had to call their customer service so they could check it and fix it on their end. It took a little time but not as long as it used to. Now I wish they would reduce their costs to us. Too expensive to have cable!

I had a great experience! Yes, there is a security guard at the front door who was happy, lovely and welcoming. My customer service rep. Jadian, was outstanding. She gets 5 stars in every category: problem solver, professional, friendly, knowledgeable, patient, efficient and helpful. She made my trip to the Bridgeport store so enjoyable. I have never used those words to describe going to an internet cable store in my life. Thanks Jadian!
