Handy CT sells 2 different oval closet rod materials that are different thicknesses and the parts do not work together. I bought both oval rods and oval connectors from Handy CT (a $350 order) the listings didn’t specify that the rods and adapters were different materials and wouldn’t work together even though they were the same shape and approximate size. The oval adapter listing says it only works with 1mm rods, but the only rods available are 1.3mm oval and 1 5/16 inches round- there is no listing for 1mm rods anywhere, so I ordered the 1.3mm. When the adapters wouldn’t fit into the rods, I asked the manufacturer what the problem was and he told me that I bought the wrong products because I’m “not a professional” and “don’t know how to read.” When I tried to explain why the website implies the only options of rod shape and size are round or oval, and that it doesn’t make it clear that oval comes in different sizes and materials he said that it isn’t his job to make it clear which products don’t work together and that if you aren’t 100% sure about the product that you shouldn’t buy it. When I asked him if that meant he wasn’t going to stand by his products and listings he suggested that I finish the conversation with his wife (because I’m a woman) and I guess he thought my small brain couldn’t process his big man words. So basically- don’t buy anything from this guy ever, because you can’t be sure what you’re buying based on the vagueness of the listing and he won’t stand by it. (On a side note- you can grind the adapters down to fit into the rods, which is what I did at the recommendation of some other unsatisfied customer on Amazon, but still- don’t buy from this misogynistic clown).

I was surprised to get a personal text from the manufacturer, requesting whether I wanted a certain design, and then forwarding to me a panel of images and to select which one I would like to have on my radiator cover… I was really impressed with the personal service . I shopped around for radiator covers online and although I found some other pretty good samples, Im satisfied with this particular vendor because of both material and design as well as cost. They’re very competitive and reasonable; Delivery is also pretty competitive; you’re also provided with updates online… And if you have a problem, you can text or send them an email and they will reply; very impressed !
Then I received the final product; what excellent craftmanship; if you follow their instructions and also pay heed to their final reply "confirm your measurements" you will end up with the product that you ordered. The material is pressed wood, but the hindges are sturdy and the folding aspect of the cover makes it very easy to install. The top has a groove that fits directly on top of the body of the radiator cover and you can paint it or spray paint it with any color. Very satisfied with this product; how it covers the unseemly, bulky, old radiator. I have attached before and after pics as some guidance and authenticity.

Unprofessional and unhelpful customer service. Ordered parts online for a closet project which ended up not being compatible. Reached out by email for help and received incoherent responses from somebody named Aaron. He didn’t understand the issue but really didn’t care to understand either. I sent my parts back anyway and never received a response or refund. Buyer beware if purchasing online.
