This store reminds me of some of the mom and pops which used to be here when I was a kid. When you enter you may not necessarily be impressed with the looks of it but if you are searching for items from your past and things you remember that the big box doesn't sell then you are in the right place. The people there are wonderful. My parents no longer live in the area but they swear by this place. If you enjoy a good bacalao (Spanish for Cod Fish) then this is the place to visit. This is a Portuguese shop so you will find just about any goods you may be looking for from Portugal. I am not Portuguese but I enjoy shopping at places which can provide things which are delicious and different. Ultimately "don't judge a book by it's cover", you may miss out on some really good items!!

OMG I feel privileged to of had Mr Carlos R. told me of this hidden little store I bought the Portuguese Sausage and fresh made Rolls! This is one of those places that only Locals know of. Thank Y'all for being here. Bill

This is a unique grocery store they have just about everything from rabbits, cod fish, fresh portuguese breads, rosaries etc. Its probably the only original portuguese stores in Bridgeport.
