“The only reason why people don’t like this Sephora very much is because you can’t return any items from regular Sephoras here, since it’s connected to Kohl’s.
This place is very nice, though! It’s not much smaller than the size of a regular Sephora location. Had most brands and nice workers.”

“Guilio, his wife, and Paul helped me and my groomsmen from beginning to end of getting tuxes for my wedding. They were kind and attentive the entire time, to the point of being on a first name basis. And, of course, the tuxes were gorgeous. They were meticulous in their detail for every person of my pretty large group. The prices were beyond reasonable and they were all more than fair and accommodating the entire time. I could not possibly recommend them more.”
“Monet at sephora is awesome. Despite being busy she helped me a lot with foundation matching and overall made me feel comfortable and welcome. All the sephora workers are great every time I go, but monet was extra today and saved me so much time and money showing me all the sales! (And i know they were very busy today with store duties!) I recommend this sephora. The staff here is always so awesome.
The other kohls staff outside of the sephora area are always so nice too. They're knowledgeable about the store and the products and I never have an issue here. Definetly my preferred kohls. Keep it up, customer service is hard but know there are consumers out there that appreciate good sales associates. It hurts to spend money but your staff makes it hurt less and has helped me save so many times with coupons, suggestions and product reviews to help me pick the right thing. Thanks!”

After failing to find a suit I liked (dress, navy) at various national and local retailers in CT or by mail order from well-known purveyors of men's clothing, I came to Valentino Tailors and bought a beautiful suit in a line they carry. “This store is well stocked and well maintained. After a long time away from mass produced clothing at full price, I realized a lot of it was no longer my style. However, I scored a nice button up long sleeves shirt to wear over dresses and tops that I quite liked - also because I got it at about 67% off. I would come back here again but not all the time. I scored a lot more like new finds at the Goodwill close by.”

“My husband and I have been in the shop a few times, never any pressure to buy, but hard to resist the colorful, high quality clothing. The displays are always neat, 'not in your face' and it was spacious enough for me to walk around while my husband browsed for some clothes. We had the pleasure of working with Carl for a new suit. It was by far the best customer service we've experienced. From being well dressed to having great knowledge and attention to detail, it was the perfect shopping experience. The finished product was perfect and we thank him for being able to ship it on such short notice.”

After reading some of the negative reviews all I have to say is, when you go to sell your items, this place is a business. Even if you think your items are in style and trendy doesn’t necessarily mean that it will be profitable for this business. Is it disappointing when you curate bins full of items to then have it turned down? Yes. But there's no reason to then leave negative reviews just because Plato’s closet is just doing what they need to do as a business.
I probably come once or twice a week to this location and to no fail I am always warmly greeted, treated respectfully and have a wonderful experience.”
