We have been using this service for over a year. My husband and I go away a few times a year and we feel confident that our pets are getting the best care and attention form Jessica. She has become part of our animals pack . We can go away an not worry that they are not getting the best care. Jessica will check in with us about any concerns or just to send a picture of our animals along with a note of how they are doing. This has been the best experience for our animals and us.

Jessica has taken great care of our beloved dog. She is dependable, trustworthy and our pets love to see her come! I’m looking forward to her walking our new puppy when we get him in the fall! Highly recommend!

We have used Jessica (Seymour) multiple time and as many as seven days straight. Lilly our Lab took to her right away and I can always be assured that Jess treats her like Lilly was her own. Jessica always seems to give her a little extra time and attention every time! Definitely 5 stars!! Jim

We have received nothing but the best service from Jessica. She is dependable and is kind to our pets and they love her in return. She is willing to cover vacations for us when needed, and we can go away and not have to worry that anything will go wrong. She is honest and very pleasant, and we are pleased and glad to have met her.

I appreciate the flexibility of HHW. All we had to do was text Carol ahead of time with our preferred time and date for a dog walk, and once cleared, we could Venmo Carol the amount for the week. Most requests, however, usually required an additional nudge of "can you get back to me about the walker's availability?" or "can you let me know how much it will cost?" (While there are discounts for multiple walks per week, it was never quite clear to me what the "week" definition was.) With one additional nudge, we usually got an official response, but it always made me a little nervous about our request and how they were documented. I will say, only once or twice did there appear to be a miscommunication between Carol and our walker about the time of our requested walk over the past year or so. Kat, who no longer works with HHW, was wonderful with our dog. When she left, unfortunately there were no other available female walkers for our neighborhood, so we were kind of stuck and could no longer use HHW.

I've used HHW to care for my young cat about 10 times. Ilene my cat sitter was excellent. My negative experience with HHW is because of the owner, Carol. She's incredibly disorganized. Every invoice she sent was incorrect (I stopped paying in cash so there would be a paper check trail when I disputed the invoices). Carol never acknowledged my emails disputing the invoices and I'd get another incorrect invoice the following month. This was a minor inconvenience, but the larger problem is that Carol couldn't seem to keep track of the days I requested pet sitting services. At the beginning of the summer, I sent her three different reservation requests for my travel dates over the next three months. Carol repeatedly asked me to remind her when I needed pet sitting. One day she appeared at my doorstep with the cat sitter, puzzled as to why I was home. I reminded her (again) that I needed pet sitting on this date NEXT month, not this month. The final straw was when she missed a visit because she screwed up which days I requested services. My reservation requests were always texted to her (she told me she doesn't check email that often) so all she had to do was read our recent text history to remind herself which days I needed help. Sadly, I've had to find another cat sitter because I can't trust Carol, which is a shame.

I had a bad experience with this pet-sitting service. Carol Parmalee treated me poorly to say the least! In our communications, she failed to respond to emails and telephone calls in a timely manner. Carol did not care that she treated me poorly. Worst of all she failed to respond to requests about the return of my house key upon my return from vacation. Carol ignored my request for the keys six days. Finally, I called the Guilford Police Department to get my house keys back. By that time I had changed the locks on my home. At the conclusion of the service, she had the audacity to charge me extra money for an extra day of vacation due to the death of my uncle. She is unbelievable and does not take ownership of her bad behavior.
