I brought my vehicle to Giovanni's on the recommendation of Geico. The car was brought there for an estimate and inspected by the Geico Claims adjuster and it was $1,600 in damages. Because the car that caused the accident (multivehicle accident) had only $25,000 in Liability I knew that I was not going to be reimbursed for the whole amount, but was told it would be roughly $800-$900. Giovanni's told me it would be 5 days(per the estimate) for repairs, after I dropped it off, I called the following week and was told it was not finished and they had to order more parts (the entire SUV lift Gate), at that time I asked if this was approved by Geico and they said it was, I asked a second time if they called Geico and got the approval for this and they said they did. I asked them for an updated quote and they emailed me a quote for $2,600 and again I asked in the email if they called Geico and got approval for this added expense and they emailed me back and said they did. 2 weeks after I dropped it off, I stopped by on a Friday to find out about the status as my daughter needed the car for the weekend and they said that it would be ready later Friday or Saturday and handed me a bill for $3,200. They never contacted me or Geico to get approval for any of the extra costs or parts and took it upon themselves to jack up the bill. At this point my car is hostage and I needed to pay it so we can get it back. I spoke to the man who was repairing it and he told me that the liftgate had to be replaced, but the insurance adjuster was well aware of the damage and only put in repair. The adjuster even took a specific photo of that damage and shared that with me during the initial insection. I called the shop later that day after I stopped by and was told they would take $200 off the bill which Is minimal at best and was told I could pick it up the next day after 11 AM. I was away for the weekend so I told my kids they could get it after 11 AM, but my kids found out that Giovanni's closes at 11 AM on Saturdays and no one was there when they drove to pick it up. Giovanni's knew that they were wasting our time to drive out there after they were closed. They claim to be a Geico shop but were not in communication with them to find out how much Geico was covering or that I would be covering a part of it. I will never use them again, I own 5 vehicles for me and my children and have had several interactions with body shops over the decades and never have I been taken advantage of like this.

While the communication from the office could use improvement, the work itself was excellent. My car unfortunately was here for about four weeks, due to delays and the lack of available paint shop personnel. The communication from the office staff was nonexistent, I had to continually call and press for a completion date, and the completion date kept getting bumped out. That part of the experience was frustrating.However, the end product was outstanding, and the car looks brand new. They did an outstanding detailing, both inside and outside the car, as part of the service. I am very happy with the work itself, and would recommend the shop for quality work. They just need to work on customer relations a little bit more.Services: Painting

Giovanni’s recently completed auto body repairs on my vehicle following an accident. They were professional and their work was excellent! I was also under a tight deadline for return of my vehicle and they were able to complete the repairs in the requested time. The vehicle was detailed inside and out prior to being returned and the work done was impeccable. It is a very stressful time having a car accident and dealing with repairs, but the team at Giovanni’s made the process as easy as possible.Services: Painting

Giovanni’s took my car in for a routine repair. Little did we know that it would be there for months because VW could not provide a hood for it. During the wait they kept me appraised of their efforts to get me back on the road and treated me exceptionally well. Once they were able to get the part my car was repaired qickly and competently. When they returned my car it clean and expertly repaired. I can’t imagine how the whole experience could have been handled better. And, my car looks great.Services: Painting

The car came back good as new. It took a little longer then I was hoping however it does look really good from the parts to the paint I am happy with it. Only thing I feel could of been better was the communication as I had to reach out for updates but I also blame my Geico rep for that as they also barely communicated with me during the process. Highly recommended. I needed repairs to my car due to some *&^% &^ %$%$ #@&^ pieces of %$#@ that broke into my car. Oh wait back to the review...lol. Mark and staff were informative and patient keeping me up to date with what had to be fixed and arrival of parts. When I picked up the car, it was detailed. A break light bulb was out and they fixed that was well. I hope I don't need you again but if I do I would be a return customer. Thank you.Services: Steering & suspension repair

I love my car again! Giovanni's did a perfect job putting my car in "brand new" shape after being hit with debris from a pick up truck on the highway- damaging the body and shattering the windshield. I highly recommend them!
