CVS in Branford needs A LOT of help at the pharmacy counter. Every single time I go the line to pick up a Rx is at least a 20 minute wait. There is never any urgency or regard to help the line move at a faster pace. The wait time also makes no sense, as people are there to pick up Rx that have already been filled…One instance I was told I needed to come back in two hours, even though I was promised my Rx that morning (7 hours prior). And the guy at the counter just stared at me like I was an inconvenience to him. I suggest hiring happy people behind the counter, as when you're sick you already don't want to be in public.

very unprofessional got a young teenager handling the pharmacy i didn’t even know if he was qualified to look at my personal details it seems they don’t care about professionalism anymore i mean i think i heard they are going out of business

the average wait time in line to pick up a prescription is about 45 minutes which seems unreasonable; forget the phone service, just a recorded message and very difficult to speak with someone

Don’t send your prescriptions here. I have been lied to about availability and pickup times. They are severely understaffed. It’s been nothing but a headache since sending my meds here.

I've had bad experiences with Walgreens, enough so that I stopped using them. I was discharged from the hospital the other and my pharmacy didn't have 2 meds that I really needed. Dr. called Walgreens, and they had med, but the pharmacy section would be closed before I got there. Walgreens pharmacist called me to let me know she would wait for me to get there so that I could get medications. I am very grateful to her. She went above and beyond to help. Thank you.

I have been to this location several times and all my encounters were pleasant. I think it's Samantha this your lady has cashed me out before but was very helpful when I was looking for some vitamins I couldn't find in the aisle around January 26, 2023 she also helped me with what was on sale. The young lady who cashed me out that day was Gia. She took was very nice and offered me a gift that they were giving out they day. Had to go back there on January 31st I had Andrew and he was also very helpful at the register. Kudos to all these three employees I hope I had her name correctly as Sam/Samantha

I was in the store, in Branford, Ct. to use my care credit card. Didn’t know how much I had on it, the cashier Debra took extra time to get me savings. They are alway helpful, that’s why I shop there. Thanks Debra

I only went here because I used to go to Towne Pharmacy and my scripts were transferred to CVS. Well today they LIED & STONEWALLED me into being an irate customer because THEY made a mistake and refused to refill my prescription when I did all I could prior to refilling the prescription in order for this not to occur. I will go back to Walgreens. Not that CVS cares about losing customers. They have plenty.

From the reviews below it seems like a lot of people have had negative experiences here wirh the pharmacy specifically. I, however, have only encountered super helpful staff at this location. If I am ever having issues with obtaining my prescription from my doctor, they go out of their way to fax over order requests and call personally. They additionally follow up with me to update me on the progress of my prescription via phone.

I have been going to CVS and Short Beach Road in Branford for years. I have been very satisfied with the store, customer service and pharmacy. Recently they got a new manager named Ben. He is the best manager they have ever had. He strives for customer satisfaction, It is just wonderful no matter what you need he will help you. Let's not forget Betty in the front. She is also outstanding and very customer accommodating. I went to write my yelp review because I was been so happy with them and discovered that the average rating is very poor I find those ratings to be completely the opposite of my experience there over the past and instead would highly recommend CVS in Branford to anyone for customer service for product availability anything you need they go out of their way to get it for you. I am appalled at the poor ratings and insignificant comments that were made . CVS on Short Beach Road is the best and I'm very happy and satisfied to go there. All of its people, pharmacy included are outstanding. If you have a concern before you publish it, talk to Ben. I am sure he will make it right
