“I took my labrador to Glastonbury Veterinary Hospital in a pinch because there was a fire in our regular vet's office. The office staff at GVH was able to get my pup in for services right away. I loved how gentle and attentive the vet tech was. Moreover, I was blown away by Dr. Haviar. Dr. Haviar carefully explained the etiology of my dog's ear infection. He then showed me the proper way to clean his ears and administer medicine. He was so gentle and patient with my dog, who is absolutely terrified of the vet. You can tell Dr. Haviar and his team love animals. Can't recommend this office enough!”
“Last week my 14 year old shih tzu Chloe was in bad shape. Vomiting, diarrhea, zero energy. I thought she was a goner. The team at AA gave her a thorough evaluation and diagnosed her with an acute liver problem. They gave her fluids overnight and miraculously brought her back to life. Chloe is back to being her usual lovable / annoying self!”
“I was updated several times throughout my puppy’s spay and she recovered quickly. We’ve been here several times prior and have always had a positive experience. Dr. Kane, Kimberly, Sarah, and Lucero in particular are wonderful, and very compassionate and competent in an otherwise stressful industry. Thank you for all that you do!

“I brought my 3 month old Cavapoo to get her vaccinations. I cannot say enough about how great the service is and how pleasant all the staff are. They answered all my questions and each time I go back they are all just as professional and friendly as the first time. I received a welcome kit and a beautiful welcome card in the mail from them. My puppy has no fear going to vet and I would highly recommend them!

“Met with new vet to try to determine what might be causing 13 year old Bichon need to pee all the time. she explained that since he was on antibiotics we need to wait for additional testing until all the antibiotics are done and then wait another 5 days. Will be coming back for either an x-ray or an ultrasound to determine if he has bladder stones.Dr. Renee Hartshorn, DVM was extremely attentive and knowledgeable. Our experience was very positive. Her care and concern was what you look for in a vet. In making a change from Dr. Mooney we are pleased she is taking over where he left off.”

“Great place, they have a Foster Program where they will care for your pet if the home environment isn't safe (I was homeless). It's 30 days, but you can request for an extension of another 30, but it's not guaranteed and if you don't get your pet after 3 days they will consider it surrendered and be put up for adoption.”

“Dr. Pennington is absolutely amazing. He is extremely knowledgeable and has great bedside manner. I’m a very nervous cat mom, every sneeze can be concerning, and he is great at calming me when I’m concerned about something insignificant but he has never been dismissive. Recently my cat seemed very sick and definitely not himself. I probably called the vet three/four times to ask advice and reschedule appointments. They were able to find me an appointment the next day because I was very concerned. Dr. Pennington was so wonderful with my sweet boy, as well as the vet tech (so gentle with him) and phone staff that helped me find the soonest appointment. They took my concerns seriously and looked at everything I asked about. He prescribed me medication for my boy and called me as soon as he got back the blood tests, the same day, which is SO appreciated because otherwise I would have been fretting until the morning. He took the time to explain his results in detail and answer all the questions I had. My boy will be okay due to them, thank you so much.
There can be a little bit of a wait, but trust me it is worth it because Dr. Pennington gives the time, energy, and knowledge needed to diagnose and treat your fur babies. I wouldn’t want to be go anywhere else. Thank you Dr. Pennington and to your wonderful staff. My boy is already feeling so much better and it’s such a relief. Thank you!”

“This VCA location is amazing. Our cat had an issue and needed a follow up 5-7 days after the emergency visit. This is not our normal VCA location, but we had to call around to get an appointment as our normal one was unable to see us for a few weeks and were not as helpful. This location was extremely accommodating, professional and kind from the first interaction. The staff, especially the vet and tech made my partner and I feel comfortable and confident in our cats care. We plan to switch to this location for future visits and wellness checks. “Both veterinarians that I've spoken with were very helpful and I didn't feel at all rushed. Front office staff were also very accommodating. Waiting area is long and can easily handle multiple animals. They mail out reminders when your pet is due for vaccinations and/or other routine appointments. You can schedule medications to be received by mail. I believe that they also board pets. VCA accepts major charge cards. I highly recommend this business.”
“Dr. Stewart is the best equine vet I've ever used. After my horse being laid up for six months due to an incorrect (WAY incorrect) diagnosis by another vet, he diagnosed him after watching him just walk out of his stall, and then corrected the problem in a matter of minutes. Then he gave me a whole program of physical therapy (walking over cavaletti) to strengthen the area which had become weak due to muscle atrophy. I have never had such a caring and knowledgeable equine vet as Dr. Stewart.”

“Dear Fox Memorial Clinic, On 9/11/24 we had to put our very old and sick cat to sleep. I recently came into extremely difficult time financially. Our cat Harley really was going to die and suffer even if I had money to help him. The vet and assistant made this process so loving. We stayed in the room with Harley when he took his last breath.
It was so sad however they didn't rush us grieve and made the difficult time a little easier. I want to thank you from Monique Vanzuilen and Mike Kula.Please donate bc they are great people! For Xmas I will hopefully have a job and will be a donor..

“Dr. Korten had provided my family's animals with compassionate and REALISTIC care for 15+ years. He is best suited for the practical pet owner and will never sell you, or guilt you into, any type of care or treatment he doesn't consider critical to the well-being of your pet. Imagine your loved one is on hospice... would you want to subject them to treatments that won't alter the outcome, or instead, would you make the person comfortable until then? I believe Dr. Korten has the same approach-- treat what can be treated, accept what cannot. That's a hard one for some pet parents to accept, but I appreciate the simplicity and directness of his approach.That being said, this clinic is not Tufts University Vetinary School of Medicine. Dr. Korten is the animal medicine equivalent of your family doctor, and in my opinion, is not supposed to be a specialist of all conditions. If you find something wasn't working, ask for a referral to higher care.”
