I have never gone into Ocean State Job lot without finding the entire staff and manager Manny be the most helpful staff. Plus finding lots of good deals too! Great place to shop!

I walk up to register and ignored by cashier who can’t count. After she finished, starts checking me out and points out there are bags, because I guess cashiers can’t bag your items anymore cause they’re lazy. Thanks, customer service is garbage these days. If you have too much pride to serve the public, maybe you should find a different job.

Loved the entire team!!
Manuel is an excellent manager! He was extremely engaging. He was far and beyond to assist me. It was an extremely pleasant experience. Nyasai, was such a delight. She was very empathic which can be challenging these days. Nyasai, was a breath of fresh air. She made my day. I believe she is worthy of so much more.
Novelette has such a contagious laugh. She shows dedication and knowledge of the needs of the consumers.
Thank you for the time to participate in surveys. I believe hiring the team was an excellent "return on your investment!"

I love Ocean State! I hate that they closed the one near me but make it a point to go to the Bloomfield store.I get the Yogi Chai Rooibos tea from here. I drink this a lot during the winter. During the spring time I love to get my gardening tools here.

The customer service at this store is great. Manuel "Manny" Perez is kind, knowledgeable, and entertaining. He is engaging with customers and makes announcements on the loudspeaker during his shifts when people make donations to the local food bank. I stayed in the store much longer than really needed just to hear what he had to say. This is by far the best Job Lot I have visited in CT.
