Great selection of finish work. Bought new doors for the house, but we ended up getting charged twice and to "reconcile" the problem, they gave my money back on a Lowes gift card... granted, getting management involved got us a promised 15% off of our next purchase, but now a lot of my money is caught up in Lowes.So you decide whether this was a good deal or if you want to shop somewhere else.

Terrible experience at the return and exchange counter. Two ladies were rude and disrespectful. They did not want to help. I have been there a ton of times and this was a first.Location to avoid if you’re returning anything- Bloomfield CT Lowe’s.

Watched the head cashier kick a person out who just purchased a hot water tank. I came up next made a return and the other item I didn't have my receipt the employee helping me was rude. She told me this store doesn't do any returns "strict no returns without a reciept" I asked for a manager. Andrea I belive was her name she was rude. I pointed to the sign she said no returns. I asked for her district managers name. She said she did not know who the district was. then asked I asked for corporerate's phone number she said she didn't know I asked again and she barked at the head cashier to get it and walk away. No Empathy, no apologies nothings. She has no place in customer service. The head cashier was just as rude zero ownership zero eye contact and zero professionalism.

Absolutely worse service - ordered a dishwasher 4 weeks ago and was given delivery/installation date which came and went with no contact or update. After contacting store, was given new date (a month later), called to confirm status and store now says dishwasher still hasn't arrived and cannot be scheduled until it comes in. Absolutely terrible service provided by incompetent staff.

Terrible experience at the store. The management does not communicate and does not follow up to make things right. The manager George is incredibly unprofessional and just does not do his job? So confused on how there can be no communication when you are delivered an appliance and the delivery people say “we’re not even taking this off the truck for you, it’s broken.” Then no follow up with Lowe’s to acknowledge the appliance not delivered or to get another appliance. I had to follow up multiple times and they kept telling me something different and changing the days it would come, stating other peoples original deliver was “priority.” George finally told us we could come to the store to get it and he would put our name on the appliance that we already paid for! Nope! No communication to the store, no note that it was ours. They tried to make us pay for it again! Terrible. And the second appliance is also broken. Terrible experience at the store. We even got “these are your final days for warranty”_ when we didn’t even have the appliance. Bloomfield Lowe’s did not communicate this to anyone. Customer service stated that they also noticed Bloomfield Lowe’s did not make any notes or updates in the system. A mess- stay away!To follow up. The second appliance was over heating and causing sparks. When contacting customer support again they said they would put a notice to the store. I specifically asked to speak to management in customer service but they said I had to wait for the stores response. I called Maytag for support. When providing the appliance serial number Maytag informed me my new dryer was actually a floor model from last year and was no longer under warranty!!! So the entire time multiple managers were lying to us that the new dryer was ordered. George lied to us that it had come in. SO I HAVE AN OLD APPLIANCE THAT COULD HAVE STARTED A FIRE WITH MY FAMILY IN THE HOME! Nothing has made right yet and I’m here with a potentially danger, old appliance and no contact from Lowe’s.

Profiling black customer as always.I'm Black Lowe's Pro shopper. Spend thousands for work and personal use. I have a staffer literally next to me in aisle 4 as I spent 30 minutes deciding on door handles. So I was curious if it was just me being paranoid. Left aisle, and theyeft too. Nope, not paranoid. 30 minutes she's still standing next to me twiddling her thumbs. Gonna go for a record 60 minutes see if they will keep following me.Update....yes they're still at it.

I just went into Lowe’s and they literally tried to rip me off. They had a faucet on sale for 32.17. When I attempted to purchase the faucet , magically the price was $129. I spoke to the woman at the check out line and she had to get the department manager. His name was Jeremy and supposedly was the “plumbing manager”.I show Jeremy what the item was marked for and his resolution was to give me a 10 percent discount. My response is that I am a veteran so I already get a 10% discount. He responds with giving me a 15% discount for my “inconvenience”. His resolution was I should pay $109 for an item marked $32.19. I told him you aren’t doing me a favor by charging me $109 for an item marked $32.19. Obviously I didn’t take that offer and I didn’t get the faucet. The sign got immediately taken down.Companies should be acting in good faith. Jeremy did not act in good faith. I know Jeremy lacks integrity but I don’t know if that is just him or if he is embodying the core values of that store. Regardless, Lowes needs to do better and Jeremy needs to do better. Companies should not have leaders that don’t have integrity.This situations should have been handled a lot better than it was.Lastly this this incident took place on Veterans Day, I want to thank all the men and women who served in the military.

I went to Lowe 's to look for a specific towel rack for my parents bathroom. This store is huge. They have all kinds of tools, and items for every part of your home. When I had just purchased my home, I was here pretty much every day, with my dad or my boyfriend looking for something for my house. My screen door is from Lowe's, my living room paint color is from Lowe's, just to name a few. I came across a very friendly sales associate, Jamie who chatted with me for a while and told me they don't have that exact towel rack in store, but I could order it online. This isn't ideal, because I did come to the store to purchase it, but shipping only takes two days. While Lowe's isn't my favorite store, I like going here with someone knowledgeable about the product and their uses. The staff I've encountered has been very friendly and helpful. They sell more then what one might expect from a home improvement store.

Wanted a quote for full carpeting in the basement. The guy who came and measured reeked of cheap cologne and cigarettes. Even though he was only there for a half-hour, the basement smelled like cheap cologne and cigarettes for 2 days. When I came down to look at his screen, he got visibly annoyed. Okay.Get the quote 2 days later. It's 1800+ sqft. That's odd, basic napkin math tells us it can't be bigger than 1300 sqft. Then they send us a new quote for 2000. The measurement magically increased 200 sqft. That's odd. They upped it without any explanation whatsoever. We measure the basement ourselves: came up with 1300 MAX. Measured it 3 times. Something is wrong here.Call the flooring dept. the lady is nasty and gets irate, even though i said it wasn't necessarily Lowe's fault. But perhaps the sub-contractor fault, the one that came out to measure the basement. Why is the lady nasty? Is she perhaps in on it? She hangs up on me, even though i was perfectly calm and said nothing bad to her. I simply said i suspected the sub-contractors of committing fraud in adding 700 sqft. I call the manager, he says he'll do something about it. Then I get an email from Lowes saying the quote was cancelled and asking me to do a survey on why I cancelled it. 2 weeks later, the manager never got back.

It's alot of lazy black women here very nasty actitudes?the light skin Jamaican lady tho is so nice and helpful this place is very clean and have alot of things available but the staff here Administración needs to do alot of firing and hiring❗️

The employees are not helpful and a little rude. We had an issue where the price advertised did not match the price that came up on register. First, they do not have cashiers, so after the helper called the department and employee came, we went and showed the price. He said oh it is this one. So we took that one back to register still wrong price. They did not change price to the one advertised! They would not find someone with authority to change price. Apparently they do not honor the prices advertised. Check your prices when you check yourself out, because all the employees are to busy standing around.
