I went to Lowe 's to look for a specific towel rack for my parents bathroom. This store is huge. They have all kinds of tools, and items for every part of your home. When I had just purchased my home, I was here pretty much every day, with my dad or my boyfriend looking for something for my house. My screen door is from Lowe's, my living room paint color is from Lowe's, just to name a few.I came across a very friendly sales associate, Jamie who chatted with me for a while and told me they don't have that exact towel rack in store, but I could order it online. This isn't ideal, because I did come to the store to purchase it, but shipping only takes two days. While Lowe's isn't my favorite store, I like going here with someone knowledgeable about the product and their uses. The staff I've encountered has been very friendly and helpful. They sell more then what one might expect from a home improvement store.

The employees are not helpful and a little rude. We had an issue where the price advertised did not match the price that came up on register. First, they do not have cashiers, so after the helper called the department and employee came, we went and showed the price. He said oh it is this one. So we took that one back to register still wrong price. They did not change price to the one advertised! They would not find someone with authority to change price. Apparently they do not honor the prices advertised. Check your prices when you check yourself out, because all the employees are to busy standing around.

The worst. Bungled delivery of our new frig, twice. Never came at times they scheduled. Useless customer service reps. You can buy most brand names at real appliance stores. Trying to save a few bucks at a big box store was a mistake. They sub out all services and take no responsibility for shabby treatment by their delivery "service". NEVER AGAIN!

Don't bother to ring the store for customer service. If someone does answer, the person will tell you no one is around to help you. Only slightly better is the on-site customer service. It would be helpful, however, if the sales associates knew anything about the merchandise, including what is in stock. All they actually do is ring things up at the cash register.

I have preferred Lowes to Home Depot since its inception. Simply put this LOWES is the absolute worst store Ive ever been too . On Wed 1/22/23 I went in to purchase a refrigerator for my garage. No salesperson to be found. After waiting 5 minutes and browsing with no salesperson. I went to find one . Two employees chatting it up . "Can one of you help me I need a salesperson" , the response was "what do you need" Id like to buy this refrigerator. She checked there were "SIX" in stock told me I could get it delivered on 1/24/23. Friday 1/24/23 no call I wait till 1pm and call phone rings noone answers call back at 3 after jus letting the phone for 5 literal minutes someone answers . I explain Im checking delivery status , I'm told "for some reason your refrigerator is not the truck , so your not getting it today, do you want it tomorrow " I say Yes ill take it 1/25/23. Saturday 1/25/23 no call wait till 1pm and call noone answers , I call back at 3pm after phone rings for 8 literal mins someone picks up. I explain Im looking for delivery status. Im told your refrigerator is not on the truck I explain this happened yesterday. Im told that they don't understand but they are goin to check "personally" . And a manager will call me back . 5pm no call , I call back phone rings numerous times . Someone answers . I explain that someone was supposed to call me back . "Please hold " 10 literal mins then someone else picks up the phone . "Can I help you" .I ask are you the manager? Im told "NO" your gonna get your refrigerator Monday 1/28/23. Monday 1/28/23 3pm no refrigerator. i call , phone rings numerous times. Someone finally answers , Explain my situation "I dint know why but its not on the truck" Finally I tell them "please refund my money" she says "so you don't want us to deliver it" Im like apparently you can't " . She says "ok ill refund your card ending ... and goodbye". Surprisingly they did manage the return , but they probably have alot of practice at returns. Its not jus the return . I adjusted my schedule on Friday and on Saturday I also had food go bad. They jus lose a 700 dollar sale like "oh well" . Noone cared no manger contacted me jus luke WHA

Compared to local nurseries and the other big box stores, the Lowe’s garden center is truly outstanding. It’s 2022 so the prices are higher than they have been previously, but the quality is excellent. They also typically have a place in the back that has plants which need a little TLC but are marked down significantly. And everything that I bought, has stayed healthy. The perennials have flourished through the years.

Bittersweet because I want to like coming here because I have to but the service is just terrible and staff so clearly do not care about helping you from returns of items, damaged goods, finding things, so on. But if you know how to navigate the store yourself then it's the only closest option second to Home Depot within 30 miles.

Customer service sucks in this location, they take forever to answer the phone. When they do, they leave you on hold for long periods of time. The system they are using is not accurate. The store told me my product was in the store and was going to be delivered the next day. It was not delivered for another week and when it came it was broken. It took over 6weeks to get my new product. I paid for a delivery and the company that delivered my package left it outside in my complex (not a house).Lowes told me they were supposed to uncrate and bring it in, both deliveries they told me that it's their contract they don't bring items in nor will they uncrate my package. There is a huge disconnect with their delivery service and customer service.I was told I was going to get a call from the manager after placing an escalated ticket. Never did. It was a terrible experience and I don't recommend this location. They need some serious training in all areas from the management to the front desk. This whole situation was handled inappropriately.

Just left the Lowes in Bloomfield, CT.There were two women employees working there, one who walked right at me as I was on my way to the exit, and one that was standing by the exit door. Both looked at me straight in the eye with no expression, if any it was not a welcoming look, then looked away .I am unsure why one of the women was standing by the out going door, she obviously did not have the personality to either greet customers or to say have a good day. Please tell your workers a smile and or pleasantry can go a long way.Possibly they are in the wrong field of work, and should not be working with the public.Besides the personality of the employees, the appearance of the store is good. But sorry ladies you took it down to one star.

Lowe's Horror StoryThis may have been my worst experience with customer service in my 36 years of life. After placing an online order for a refrigerator, I decided to cancel it and travel to my local Lowes to see it in person since they had one in stock. This is where the excitement began... for me to convey the story adequately, please allow me to narrate the ordeal between me and the du**a**s "Appliance Manager." Me: Hi ma'am, I canceled my online order for this fridge and came in to check it out. I like it, and I'd like to order it in-store. Appliance Manager: Well, in-store prices are different from online prices, and we don't honor our online prices.Me: OoooKkkkk???? So how much is the fridge with the current promotion posted all over the store stating $500 off? Appliance Manager: I can't tell you that until I check you out and you pay for the appliance? Me: That doesn't sound right??? Appliance Manager: You can also get $100 off if you apply for a Lowes credit card.Me: hmm... that sound like a steal. Are you sure you can stack coupons like that? Appliance Manager: I can't tell you until I check you out with the credit card. Me: Why would I have to apply for a credit card to know the price of my order. Appliance Manager: That's how the system works. Me: That makes no sense, but go ahead and apply for the card. 5 minutes later...Appliance Manager: You are approved for $8,000. Let me check you out. 20 minutes later...Appliance Manager: The total price is $2300, but that's before the $500 discount is applied. Me: Are you sure that's not the final price? Appliance Manager: Yes, I'm sure...Appliance Manager: We are having issues with our system. I'm going to call the credit department...30 minutes later...Appliance Manager: Can I have your social again...15 minutes later...Appliance Manager: Can you talk to them? Me: 15 minutes on the phone... Appliance Manager: It's still not working. Let's walk up to the front of the store and see if their system works. Me: Ma'am, I'm seriously getting frustrated that you ran a hard credit inquiry on me, and the card isn't working. I just wanted the price I had online, and I'll be on my way. I can use my bank credit card at this point.Appliance Manager: The coupon only works if you use the Lowes Credit card. Me: But your system doesn't work, so how is that possible? Can't you just have a manager honor the price? Appliance Manager: Oh nooo... I've seen people get fired for that.Appliance Manager: I'm as frustrated as you are; let me talk to the manager. 30 minutes later... Appliance Manager: The fridge doesn't qualify for the promotion in-store. Sometimes online promotions don't apply in-store to certain brands. Instead of giving you $500 off, I can get you $300, and you can't get the $100 for applying for the card. Appliance Manager: The price of the fridge is now $2700Me: (Clearly pissed at this point)... how is the fridge $2100 online, $2300 in the back of the store, and $2700 now? Appliance Manager: Well, you have to cash out for the discount to be applied. Me: Ok, just use my bank credit card and check me out. No lie, she hands me a receipt for $2700...Me: WTF... Please cancel this order and refund me my money. I'm so done with this. Appliance Manager: Let me speak to my manager. 10 minutes...Appliance Manager: Well... I can get you $300 off; that's the best I can do. Me: Sigh... you're not doing me a favor. I came into the store, and you didn't honor your online pricing; then you had me sign up for a credit card that I can't use to get a discount that you won't honor, and now the fridge is more expensive than when we started even with your $300 "discount." After two total hours, I left the store visibly upset. I called back to speak to the store manager, who seemed a bit condescending. She offered to sell me the fridge for the online price. I asked If I should come back to the store. She replied, "nope,

This review is kinda tricky. I love the selection and style of most items in the store. Shelves are normally well stocked and asile are spotless. So why only 2 stars? Customer service in the front end is lacking. Most cashiers are quick to greet each other but hardly have any words for the customers. And I did say most, there are few exceptions to the rule, especially those who work in appliances or other departments are always helpful. This store also doesn't have any self checkout and normally only 1-2 cashiers working so lines can be long. Only reason I return on a regular basis is conviene of location.
