I'd say, "Ol' Reliable." When I planned my trip to Connecticut, I assumed I could depend on Lyft. How wrong I was!!! Luckily I found out about Yellow Cab Co and was impressed by how immediately/unconditionally they were reached by phone! They operate 24/7. Their version of "ASAP pickup" usually denotes 30 minutes - WAY better than Lyft/Uber which just straight up has no rides. The prices were great, in my experience! I paid exactly what I would have paid with a Lyft, if not a little less. They dropped me off in Essex one day, and later got me to the train station early. The taxi consistently arrived a few minutes before scheduled. I recommend to schedule your ride in advance; when I didn't call ahead on a Friday night, I wasn't able to get a ride from them. (I ended up getting a ride from some kind strangers I met - Connecticut is awesome, LOL!) The taxi itself is emblazoned with their logo, as well as a hint of eau-de-cigarette, but nothing unpleasant. There was a nice safety divider which still made our voices audible. I was able to charge my phone in the car. When I asked my driver to slide his mask up a tad, and he happily did so and did the same during my second trip. And I was happy to support a local business!

The day before my ride, I booked a taxi for a ten minute car ride. I waited for an hour and a half before i finally gave up. I had to miss my entire appointment and i am completely infuriated. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Completely unprofessional staff who hung up on me multiple times. I will be using other services from now on.

The guy driving Cab number 79 by the airport on 8/23/2018 at 7pm should be tired. He got impatient waiting at a red light, jumped the curb, drove on the grass and almost plowed over a Lady and her toddler. The Lady jumped out of the way inches from getting killed. No wonder this company has 1 Star. Use Uber or Lyft.

The place to get your natural gas vehicle filled. No lines. Self serve. I heard the garage on the other side of the parking lot ( cab company) does great work.
