We love this store!! My son wears a special size shoe and they order them in for him and let him choose his color. Super friendly, always attentive. Easy parking!!

Fast and knowledgeable work. I walked in and told Joe that I needed a pair of everyday walking shoe and a pair of non-slip work shoes. I knew I liked an old model of new balance, and he worked off that. The two pairs he brought out both feel fantastic! I couldn't have been in for longer than 5-10 minutes. Despite the name, the store is great for people looking for casual street wear as well as athletes.

I want to give this small business the highest rating for their professionalism, products, pricing and customer service. There aren't enough stars to classify my experience with this establishment in the past 2 years or so. I have purchased 2 pairs of boots, 1 pair of sneakers, 2 pairs of shoes and 1 pair of slippers over the past 2 years and have been exceptionally happy with each product. I have some disabilities which affect my feet and legs, balance and proper fit and comfort, mostly, and did not purchase any shoes or boots for many years. I needed a level of advice and expertise based on knowledge of shoe brands, proper measuring and a return policy that was reasonable just in case their fit and comfort was not exactly right when I tried wearing the shoe at home. I also became unable to physically navigate large malls and stores. I bought all shoes, sneakers and boots for many years on my own from large retailers for all of my adult life with no great concern. My needs changed 5 years ago, and I could not find the personalized, knowledgeable attention in those places. I randomly walked into this store and discovered that they offered so much more than just a retail purchase. One pair of shoes which I loved I had to return a long time after purchase even though I only wore them for a few hours. Eric took them back, months after purchase, no questions asked and gave me a store credit. He understood my limitations. After that level of service and integrity, I have bought all the other shoes and boots from that store since. I wouldn't go anywhere else. The quality of their products is unsurpassed. I was not pressured or steered toward more expensive products by a sales person. My needs were the only consideration. I ended up buying other items in the store that were not related to footwear because I then wanted to support their business. My latest purchases this week were advised through Nate. I am extremely satisfied with all my purchases and feel great wearing these beautiful, high quality and fashionable shoes, boots and slippers. I highly recommend this business to anyone, but especially to anyone with any special needs for shoeware. They also work with local medical professionals with clients with special shoeware needs historically. They are a rare retail store offering not just products but also quality, customer service and the combined experience and expertise of only an establishment which has decades of knowledge of brand and the industry. I am very pleased to offer my highest regards for Eric Tonner and all the sales people I have had the pleasure to meet.

I cannot say enough good things about Athlete's Source. Anytime my family needs sneakers, I head here first. The owner and all staff I have encountered are very nice and provide great customer service.

Great experience! I called ahead to the store to ask if they were still carrying Dansko clogs. Over the past few years Dansko clogs have been fitting differently and I wanted to be sure the sizing was correct. During my first call Jared actually took the time to verify that he had some in my size to try on. When I stopped in, Danielle helped me and we ordered my clogs which came in just a couple of days later. Yes, I could have ordered them on-line, but I choose to support a retailer who goes above and beyond from the first call. Great experience, great staff! I'll be back!

The last few weeks my feet were killing me, I'm on them for 10-12 hours a day, I'm constantly waking up and downstairs, I work in healthcare. I've tried that Dr. Scholl machine at Walmart which tells you which insole you should get. They worked for a while, went to sketchers by Walmart and got their arch fit shoes. I hated them. Returned them the next day. I went to the podiatrist who recommend me grabbing a better quality shoe such as Brooks, New Balance or Ascis. He told me to get the Superfeet green insole and also recommended me to this shoe store in Bethel. As soon as I left that office I drove right to this store. I was greeted by Leah, she was fantastic. She sat me down, asked what I do for work, what am I looking for in a shoe. She measured for my shoe size and got at least 3-4 pairs to try on. All brands the doctor recommended. She had me try on each pair and had me walk back and forth, making sure my posture was in proper form, and to ensure my balance in the shoes were good. Unfortunately they did not have the Superfeet Green insole in my size (popular item). Leah had recommended alternative brands of insole, which I did try but I wanted to stick with the doctor recommendation, she was extremely respectful of that, even agreed stick with the doctors recommendation. She did not try to push anything on me, so I ordered a pair on Amazon. I ended up buying two pairs of shoes from the store. Brooks and Ascis and I love them. Very comfortable. I was extremely pleased with my experience at this store. Without a doubt I will be returning in the future.

I had four family members go to this store today to return a pair of sneakers that were ordered on line and they were told "We don't carry that shoe"Bad answer. They should have been allowed to return them and the store could have returned them to New Balance. They were also told there is a "show shortage"!!!! All four of these people wear New Balance. That will make 5 people that will be going elsewhere for their sneakers from not no!!!

I took my son here based on his doctor's diagnosis of flat feet. I thought he would need some special inserts or something.Instead the staff explained different types of shoes and how they compensate for flat feet the way that the shoe is designed.Super knowledgeable and helpful staff - a few folks helped us but mostly worked with Melina. Felt like she knew more than the doctor that diagnosed my son's flat feet!I wound up getting new sneakers for my son, my daughter, and myself before we left - highly recommend!
