Not for the hobbyist or weekend warrior. I asked about shipping, which was dismissed in a half sentence since I only wanted to get 100 bd ft. Several of us waited around for 20 mins, there was one guy supposed to help everyone out, so it was rush rush rush. For walnut, the shortest boards were 9' long. It's all good if you show up with a flatbed truck and have a couple hours to spare, not for the hobbyist.

Oh man, why did I not know about this place??? Best hardwood selection at absolutely reasonable prices. Friendly staff, I got my mahogany wood board at first rate grade. And at a third of the price of the local bigger box store.

Very nice and knowledgeable group of people working here. I am an amateur woodworker and they were very helpful to me in picking out the type of wood and species I was looking for. I will definitely return with other projects I am working on.

Super helpful, non judgemental to non pros, and straightforward and fair pricing.The owner was leaving and saw me struggling with ratchet straps and patiently taught me the right way to use them and made sure the lumber was secure.Dont be afraid to go if you are a diyer or a pro!Couldnt recommend enough

I went in not knowing anything about buying hardwoods. As a novice woodworker all I had used thus far was pine. The gentleman in the office was super attentive and told me exactly what to do. The owner then helped me pick out the Walnut for the project I was making. I walked out of there with perfectly milled walnut boards. I will definitely be back. Great product and service!

I've been working with the Kellogg's for over a decade and I'm never disappointed. Whether it's a large order or a single piece I've always been treated well by their knowledgeable and friendly staff. Their prices are competitive with different mills I've quoted. It's nice to drive up, pick out some rough lumber and leave shortly after with just what I need.

Great selection, and helpful staff. I was only picking a single piece of wood, but they took me back to the shed to pick out what I wanted. Then they plained it down and squared up one edge, so the board was project ready for me.

I am a huge fan of Kellogg Hardwoods. I started coming up to Bethel from Weston in the 90's when they were at the other location. They just keep getting better. They are helpful and very knowledgable when I have questions about different species of wood. Their wood is always in great condition. I recommend them to anyone in need of wood, flooring or custom moldings!

Been dealing with them for over a decade. Reasonable prices and good service. They're molding service is phenomenal. Quick and very accurate. Plus they match the prices of big mills without the often long lead times. Highly Recommended!!!
