Alice and Steve are delightful and very helpful. Steve has gotten to know the types of books I like, and every suggestion he has made has been spot on. I love all three of their book clubs and find the discussions very uplifting and informative. Shop local!

Byrd’s Books is a gem in the lovely town of Bethel. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and helpful with a wealth of information.
We are a woman-owned, family-run independent bookstore that carries only new books, gifts and greeting cards. We have in-person browsing, online ordering, and curbside pick-up if desired. We host in-person author events, virtual author events, two book groups and share the schedule of events with our customers by emailed newsletter, social media and the website.
