720 Amity Rd, Bethany“THIS PLACE... I had a hour drive one way and pictures do no justice. I got here like 30 min before they Open , an I was so ready to just help myself and start walking and browsing. So many flowers visible from the parking lot. Flats, hanging baskets, singles so beautiful defiantly can't miss the place, and prices are good ... HIGHLY recommended ? ?”
“What a nice old nursery to visit. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff. There was a very nice variety of plants. We saw a beautiful tree, reasonably priced, but we could not fit it in our vehicle and it was almost 2hrs away. Overall very nice place.”
“I decided to stop to get some annuals to plant among my perennials so I would have flowers throughout the summer. I was looking for Angelonia and yellow Marguerite Daisys and luckily found both. It was difficult to resist the beautiful perennials but I stayed strong! They had some really big, beautiful pots full of begonia for the front stoop too. Tons and tons of beautiful stock: trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals and house plants.”
“I've been going to plant nurseries across the eastern US for the past 30 years, and this is one of the two best I have ever encountered. Their selection is like a dream list of must haves. They have cultivars, especially woodies, that I have only seen in European catalogues, specialist books & websites, or are simply very rare and hardly ever available. And yet, their prices are extremely reasonable: their beautifully grown rare cultivars are half the price of the 'normal' cultivar I encounter at other nurseries. Even 6' tall potted trees of rare cultivars are often under $200 (VERY reasonable). The nursery is also amazingly well organized: ordered by plant type, alphabetical by genus, with laminated signs on horizontal metal beams, in addition to simple labels in every pot, with very sturdy carts. I was blown away by how well organized this place is. Staff was very friendly, too. Again, simply AMAZING species and cultivars available.”

226 Paradise Ave, Hamden“The perennials, annuals, bushes, trees and indoor plants are all healthy and beautiful. I’ve been going to Paradise Nurseries for over 30 years and always happy with the quality, quantity and service. Support family owned businesses. Especially when they are as pleasant as this family.”
“My go-to for the needs of groundskeeping and pet foods. If you're into landscaping this is the place. In addition to their Great Prices, they are extremely helpful in information about pest control. I'm not trying to harm anyone's animals, have to be very careful in what you use for rodent deterrent.”
“Great nursery for any garden- most plants are presented in wide varieties- peonies, heucheras, petunias, hostas, Japanese maples and others.
We have got plants that we have not seen in our local nurseries on Long Island.
Friendly and helpful staff.
We will come again when in the area.”
“I recently found out that they do kids workshop every month of 1st Saturday. I went with my son and he really enjoyed it. You have to sign up ahead of time. I'm definitely going next time...”

“Rente a rock hound, picked it up at 7 am. It was ready. Around 1pm it blew an O ring. We called. I walked across the street to do something was gone a total 10 mins. When I walked back, the service guy was already cleaning up. That's fast. Thank you guys”

1816 Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike, Southington“I’ve been to a lot of Home Depots within the last year and this location was by far the kindest staff. One guy offered me a cart while I was carrying large bins and then the woman at self checkout scanned my bins for me, helping me expedite checkout.”
“I just recently purchased a backpack leaf blower through them, when I initially called they were not in stock due to current market conditions, but they were friendly and polite, took my name and number and said they would let me know as soon as they did. I received a call a month or so later just like they said they would do, I was heading out on vacation for a week, but they let me pay for it over the phone and I picked it up when I got back... it was quick and easy, they did what they said they would do and they even got it started up for the first time and put in a full tank of gas! Oh and they gave me a pilsner mug, what more could you ask for, haha!”
“This location takes very well care of the floral especially the out door. Everything was watered well and in bloom. All the perennials were in excellent condition.”

Home Depot, 117 Main St, Derby“Tommy in the Derby location was extremely helpful with the paint and knowledgeable. I had a few questions about the paint brushes and he had no hesitation. I would definitely recommend his customer service and friendly attitude.”
“I had a very positive experience at this Walmart- all because of one of their customer service representatives, Jessica. I was fortunate enough to be transferred to her when I called for information regarding a chair I was trying to purchase. I needed to find out whether, if the chair wasn't right, it could be returned and at what cost. Jessica quickly point out that the chair I was trying to buy would not qualify for free returns but a basically identical one would be. I was especially impressed that- her own - she also offered me a discount code. I would have never been able to know what chair to buy and how to get the discount. People like Jessica are often the face of a store, and Jessica was a friendly, helpful and smiling one throughout. I'm very pleased and very grateful.”
