“The Life is Life tote bag is my absolute favorite canvas bag! It’s HUGE, with so much room for all the things I need for a day or weekend trip. Plus, the pockets make it so convenient to organize my stuff so I can find it easily. Not to mention it’s so freakin cute and stylish with the design/logo and black trim! Plus, it goes great with my purple Life is Life crewneck sweatshirt, which is SO comfy and soft. The sweatshirt is perfect for lounging around the house, but also adds a pop of color when I want to wear something fun outside! Highly recommend this brand!”
“I have to admit, I assumed this would be a Newbury Comics knock off - but I thought the selection was wonderfully curated, and the people working there were SO helpful - we sort of wandered in with a 1, 2, and 3 year old - the one guy directed us towards the things in their sizes, quickly pulled things down if anyone so much as glanced at them, and found matching things from the adult section. When he got the things we couldn’t reach down - he put all of the sizes on a rack we could reach and swapped them with sometime else so it was easy for us to pick them up ourselves. When he grabbed the adult stuff, he said - don’t worry if you don’t love that, just leave it there I can put it back - which was so thoughtful. I thought it was the best combination of salesmanship and consideration I’ve ever seen. Walking in it was just supposed to be browsing and a time sink, and we walked out with things we really liked. The other employees were sweet with the kids and knowledgeable about the things we were buying. I was pleasantly surprised by the whole concept as well - 1 meal for every $10 spent - so it was a fantastic experience. I don’t think I’ve ever even thought to write a review of a store in a mall but bravo Box Lunch!”

Stopped in on Saturday needing a dress shirt for my husband's X-mas party, that night, and Natale not only had the right shirt for him, he immediately tailored it for a custom fit! His pricing is beyond fair and his workmanship is exceptional. We will definitely return any time we need men's dress attire or any tailoring - he does women's alterations too.”

She made the dress fit like a glove and it was done in 2 days! She was a lifesaver! Will definitely go back to her!”

I simply cannot thank Manoj, Daniele, and Benjamin enough for making me look and feel the best for my special day! “This is an excellent place with lots of parking since almost nobody shops at Kohl's. Kohl's is convenient and takes Amazon returns, which never have a line.There is Harbor Freight, where you can find the most comparable tools at Home Depot for half the price.Then there is Aldi's. Aldi's is a German-owned grocery store owned by the same person who owns Trader Jo's. It is a streamlined, practical, and very cheap way to shop for organic vegetables, cheese, and meat, and I say this after years and years of shopping at Whole Foods. It is half the price compared to Whole Foods for not providing variety. The remarkable thing about Aldi's in Wallingford is that it is well-managed, and the clientele is respectful. The store is clean, and the carts are well-kept and smooth-running. You can check yourself out and get in and out of the store without meandering through aisles of useless stuff on sale that tempts you at the big grocery stores and wastes time. The only time you are waiting in line is during the peak hours of the weekend. I cannot say all Aldi's are well managed like Wallingford. West Hartford and Hamden do not have self-checkout, and the clientele differs.”

“PLEASE READ REVIEW: The manager of this store, Deborah, SAVED MY WEDDING. She was empathetic, kind, attentive, and selfless. I went to men's Wearhouse for custom made suits. 2 months are the order was set up I was told at Men's Wearhouse that my custom suit order had run out of fabric and that I had no other options. 3 out of 8 groomsmen did not have suits. They offered no other options and told me to return the suits and "go in a different direction". The store manager at men's Wearhouse was so condescending she made me cry. I called Jos A. Bank in Glastonbury to see if they could help me. Deborah immediately got to work to find a solution. She invited me to the store and after seeing my fiancés custom suit she told me that not only does Jos. A. Bank have that exact suit available off the rack, but so did men's Wearhouse. The store manager at men's Wearhouse did not check their online inventory, but the store manager at Jos. A. Bank did for me (even though it wasn't even her store. The solution was so simple and she was able to help me get the groomsmen their suits. Afterwards she checked in with me and made sure everything was all set. She was helpful every step of the way. Please if you are wondering where to get a suit, GO TO JOS. A. BANK AND SEE DEBORAH. She is wonderful at her job.”
