I don't know why there are so many bad reviews for this branch! I have been with Bank of America since 2002, and I have used this particular branch for 16 years. Everyone there is always so nice! Granted, they are a little short staffed, so you have to wait in line sometimes. But their kindness makes up for it. And they reopened the drive through, which I noticed a few weeks ago. YAY! :)

The Clerk at the desk (Evelyn) was a complete incompetent. Waited an hour and a half and she still could not complete my wire transfer. Left disgusted and having to complete the wire transfers on my own. This location was understaffed and did not satisfy my banking needs. SAD! Then when I go to do my transfers at home from my phone, I get flagged by the fraud department because my phone is new. Well if Evelyn knew how to do her job when I came to your financial center for help, maybe I wouldn't have had to handle my banking transactions on my own.

I won’t be coming here EVER again!Very racist looking at me wrong because my deposit to my account was very small witch it shouldn’t matter what I put or take out my account. Manager was yelling at one of the employees very inappropriate things talking down on her. I won’t be doing service here again & would be closing my checking & saving account with this disgusting bank.

So I go to this branch since in Southington they closed theirs, unfortunately but definitely happy with the service from the Berlin branch where I went to bring 2 of my kidos to own their accounts & my husband as well !!!! Carol, Taylor & Evelyn definitely take care of us when we go, welcoming ladies & can’t wait to go back for my other kidos or whatever it is me or my family may need assistance with at this branch ?

I’m dealing with few different banks from time to time but never treated like this , the teller was so rude when she examined my id to see if I carry fake one,even I wasn’t cashing a check or withdraw moneySimply depositing some money for my coworker,But anyway now I think probably he has fake one

Great experience. Walked in and I was helped immediately. I wish I knew her name because she was extremely helpful and told me "no worries, I'll take care of everything" which she did and now I feel better. She went far and beyond to help and I felt like comfortable.

Does NOT have a drive thru that's open, contrary to what website claims. Drove extra far specifically to be able to drive thru with kids in the car but it was closed in the middle of open hours, no answer on the call button, and couldn't even find a local phone number to even call the bank inside. Bank of America is increasingly only good for their ATM network.

I have been with BofA for over 27yrs. but I've decided to move on. The female manager at this branch is extremely rude and unprofessional. Back in February of 2020 she humiliated me by yelling at me aggressively in the presence of other clients as well as staff. When I asked to speak with her supervisor, she ordered me to leave and threatened to call the police. I made her aware that I have been a member for nearly 30 yrs and that I would be contacting her superiors and that I had never been treated this way at any other branch. She proceeded to tell me "perhaps you should go to those other branches." I left the premises and was later contacted by West Hartford police and asked to never visit that branch again. When I asked for an explanation. They explained that the manager felt threatened by my background in law enforcement. Of course, she only found that out after researching my bio. I never made any threats towards her. She conveniently made it up in order to cover her tracks. I proceeded to lodge a complaint back in February with BofA. As today, nearly 5 months later I have yet to hear from anyone. Needless to say I've decided to switch banks after nearly 30 years due to the mangers action at the New Britain Avenue branch in West Hartford Connecticut and the lack of concerned by BofA in general. Please note that the reason for this interaction was due to the fact that the cashier was giving me a hard time while I was attempting to withdraw my own money. Even though I had provided her with all the necessary identifications.

Only 1 star because there's no option for a zero. Hours say 9 am open time, but the drive-thru is rarely, if ever, open at that time. Theyn to call the branch, you get a 1-800 number with a dozen prompts that NEVER get you directly to the branch. Terrible, terrible service all around.
