I have had an Acura since 2003. Made an appointment in April for July for a recall. The appointment was cancelled due to lack of loaner. Brought it in July 30 with no loaner. After a couple of weeks I was told it was getting cleaned and the paper work was being finalized. Instead of getting a call to pick it up I was told that it would need a new crankshaft even though the car only has 49,000 thousand miles on it. I was told that would take a week. I haven’t seen the car since. Over a month with no loaner. I am done with Acura and will dump it if and when I get it back. Worst experience ever.

Amazing experience working with Acura of Berlin and Erica! Erica is very professional, patient and knowledgeable on different car features. With Erica's guidance, we were able to narrow down the car and features that I wanted. It was a pleasant and enjoyable experience! Highly recommend Erica & Acura of Berlin!

I have nothing but good things to say about Acura of Berlin for its fast service and good work. I had a problem with my Ilx, and Jonathan took care of it the same day. If you need any car service, I highly recommend seeing Jonathan.

Terrible and corrupt dealership. Here’s why:
On the day I called, I expressed interest in a 2021 Acura TLX they had on the lot and asked if I could drive an hour to check out the car and take it for a test drive. Jim assured me that the dealership was very busy and he had many people to attend to, so he wouldn’t have time for me to see the car. Despite this, I drove to the dealership anyway, as it was the only day I had that week. When I arrived, I found the dealership to be almost empty, well before closing time. The only people present were Jim and the secretary.
Jim Pompei, the “product specialist,” showed me the car and emphasized the excellent Acura Precision Warranty, which would be active for some time after purchase. He explicitly stated that the vehicle was Acura Certified Pre-Owned and had undergone a 182-point inspection. However, when I asked to see some numbers, he explained that he wouldn’t discuss them until I confirmed I was ready to buy the car that day. This aggressive sales tactic, an exploding offer, did not work on me, so I left without any numbers or paperwork.
I continued to communicate with Jim via text, but his messages were unprofessional and full of typos—hardly reassuring when making such a significant purchase. I then made a $1,000 deposit. However, when I received the purchase order, I noticed that all the warranty boxes were blank. I called to clarify and learned from the General Sales Manager (GSM) that the vehicle was not Acura Certified Pre-Owned, contrary to what Jim had claimed, and their dealership website had stated. There was also no warranty of any kind. Despite these discrepancies, the dealership refused to lower the price.
I then had to fight for months to get my deposit refunded. According to my credit card company, the dealership submitted the refund request much later than I had asked, and only after numerous follow-ups. The deposit slip did not indicate whether the deposit was refundable. Before making the deposit, Jim was evasive when I repeatedly asked about its refundability, often dodging the question and attempting to manipulate the situation.
Connecticut law requires dealers to disclose in writing whether a deposit is refundable or non-refundable at the time it is taken. This dealership appears to have violated that law, engaged in false advertising, and exhibited corrupt practices. I strongly recommend avoiding this dealership. I ended up taking my money elsewhere and purchased a higher-spec 2021 Acura TLX at a lower price.

The work done with my car was with excellent service and no charge beyond the diagnostic rate. The service rep also went out of his way to show me how to schedule future services for my cat. Than you very much.
